Sushi Sake Naples — Restaurant in Bonita Springs

I called earlier in the day to reserve a table for seven for a surprise birthday dinner. I usually go to Sake, but I wanted to try a new place. When we arrived, the table was not even set up. Once our party was complete, we had to arrange the tables ourselves. I had ordered some appetizers in advance and requested that they be served when we sat down, but that request was also overlooked.

When the appetizers finally arrived, we were left waiting for the silverware for the rest of our party. The drinks were mediocre and not worth the price. We ordered both hot meals and sushi. Those who ordered sushi received their dishes at least ten minutes before the rest of the meals were ready. Additionally, we were supposed to receive vegetables with our meals, but they never arrived.

My husband’s shrimp was so heavily salted that he found it barely edible. Although the atmosphere was nice, we spent a significant amount of money—several hundred dollars! I would recommend Sake over Sushi Sake...

This place is not good. All these 5 star reviews are BS. Since the place was new and close to home I wanted to give it a try. We both ordered Lychee Me cocktails, terrible and they took forever to be served even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Manager was sitting at a table in the corner talking on speaker on his cell phone. The Music playing was loud scream-o music and not relaxing. Another patron was sitting on a FaceTime call on speaker. :/ gyoza appetizer over deep fried with very little filling. Shrimp Tempura roll tiny with all this crazy citrusy mayo sauce on top. Shrimp hibachi sauce was not good. The best thing we ate was the fried rice. Won’t be back, don’t waste your money here. Go to Namba for better quality...

Had lunch shrimp hibachi. The Ginger dressing for the salad was stout and an edible. The vegetables that came with the shrimp and the sauce that the shrimp was in were extremely salty. The protein portion was on the small side, but on a high note the fried rice was really good.. There are a lot of five star reviews on the site for this restaurant and it’s only been open for a little over a month so it’s easy to see that most of these reviews are from people that have reviewed other things hundreds of miles away.
