One of the night managers or could've been a shift manager was very nosey and creepy. I love the place and what they sell. But i was shopping with my friend and we forgot something i needed to get so i made a phone call and texted a picture to my mother and the guy manager kept showing up after to the second isle I was in. He asked twice if we needed help or what was we looking for. After 3 minutes. And when I was just standing there on the phone. He wouldn't leave me alone even though I told him what I was doing. I even showed him a glance on my phone, didn't really think he wanted to see but he stopped and looked for a long time and followed where my phone was until he seen my conversation with my mom. He did say "oh okay". And walked off. Then later when I went to check out, we didn't noticed that he followed us. He seemed really sneaky. I only had four 12 packs of sodas and 2 food items. And when I was done I turned around and he was over my shoulder and looked at me like he wasn't being weird. It scared me when I turned around. And he smiled amd said have a good night to us as if he wasn't being a total creep. I'm only giving this place 3 Stars because i go there every once in a while and i still like it there. But I hate when i see that man there sometimes. Makes me want to leave the store each...
Read moreDropped by the Bonner Springs Price Chopper for the first time to pick up a few things on my way home. Beautiful produce section. Went by the hot Deli department to buy some chicken and side dishes and received some great service from the crew there even though the end of their day was probably just around the corner. I asked them a few questions about what else they served in particular made-to-order breakfast, and they took the time to explain to me just what they do, then and there I decided I'm coming back. The top that one when I went to the checkout line one of the staff notice that I was using my wheeled walker and suggested that I pull up to the special pick-up Lane and they would bring my groceries to the car and load them up for me. Their customer service appears to be top of the line, and I'd like to know how the management trains their staff to exhibit such kindness and care for a customer they're meeting for the first time. Keep up the good...
Read moreThe worst. Employees don’t smile at you, greet you, or help you. I’ve known about the customer service for years but today was worst. I asked a young employee if they could look in the back for something for me. She said “if it’s not on the shelf, we PROBABLY don’t have it.” I knew that was false since I was looking for soda and vendors keep back stock in the back. I approached the assistant manager. I greet him, by the way, as he can’t be bothered to say hi or acknowledge your existence as he walks past you. I ask him. He says the same thing. I call him out as I know there’s soda pop in every grocery store’s back room because I worked for Coca Cola. He reluctantly goes and checks and what do you know? It’s back there.
Even my father made a comment about how terrible their customer service was when he visited years ago and went there. You’re better off at Walmart across the street. Same bad customer service, but at least the prices...
