I will never go back to this location. We aren’t tourists, we live here. Having run, and owned restaurants myself, I am appalled at the lack of training and responsibility in this establishment. While Zack, our waiter, was genuinely nice, and the food, (mine, anyway)when it eventually came, was good, the experience here was horrible. My daughter ordered a black bean burger no peppers, and she received a regular burger, loaded with peppers. Had to send it back for yet another long wait in a restaurant with tables I could count on one hand. My friend ordered a burger well done and it came out practically raw. Another server delivered our food, Hanna or Anna, something like that. I had the enchiladas and she didn’t warn me the plate was hot. VERY , out of the oven, hot. I dropped it on the table, burning my hands. When I told her she could have warned me, she said “ um, the plate is hot.” I mean, REALLY?! She proceeded to literally glare at me the rest of the time we were there. I’m absolutely appalled. The place is filthy. I’m not exaggerating. It’s disgusting. I couldn’t even use a booster seat for my granddaughter because every single one was sticky and gross. I literally watched the hostess buss tables ( when they finally got bussed at all. We sat through nearly the whole meal looking at dirty dishes and tables. Again, middle of the afternoon and the place was pretty much dead), I watched her knock the food and crumbs off the table to the floor. Put high chairs and a booster back without cleaning them. My daughters black bean burger took so long to finally come out, she just asked for a to go box at that point because we were all done eating. Went to the bathroom to wash my hands, and it was so nasty in there I didn’t want to touch anything. Floor was filthy and littered. Paper towel dispenser half hanging on the wall. When we left, the front doors were so gross, we used our elbows to open them to leave. Where are the managers?! Who lets a place get this bad?! We love Chili’s, but we will never return...
Read moreMy wife and I spent the weekend at Boone NC. We decided to stop in at Chili's for dinner. We noticed a sanitation rating of 90.5 and I started to turn around but it was late and my wife and I were hungry so we decided to stay and eat. We were seated at a booth but my cushion kept sliding forward and it was really getting on my nerves but like a hungry man I didn't say anything to any of the employees. The waiter ask what did we want to drink, my wife ask for diet cola and I ask was the water filtered because I wanted water. The waiter said he didn't know but he would ask his boss and let me know, so I said okay. About five minutes later he came back with a diet drink and a glass of water, he said his boss said it was filtered so I said okay and we ordered our food. While waiting for our food I tasted of my water and like to have puked, it tasted like iron and chlorine mixed, it taste very bad and I was upset because he had lied to me. About five minutes later he walked by our table so I stopped him and told him about the water. The usual thing was "I'm sorry, can I get you something else to drink. I said no, I wanted filtered water and then he gets right nasty about it and mouthy. I was pissed about this time so I ask him to cancel my order and ask him how much did we owe for my wife's drink because she had taken about two swallows of it. He said he would see and was gone about ten minutes and handed me a bill of $2.98. I was SMH, through $3.00 on the table and walked out. These people are crazy and I will never eat...
Read moreFamily of 4. We dined there tonight and it was by far the worst service we've had there. Section seating is what it seemed. The server came to get our drinks as we were finding drinks on the menu. I didn't get my lemon with my tea. My companion waited a good 20 minutes on second beer, i got it from the bar where it had been sitting. The waitress didn't bring set ups. She left half my order in the kitchen. It took forever to get my first tea ( no lemon). The Mexican rice was good but there were hard rice in the rice. Shrimp tacos were okay, cilantro was a bit wilted and dark. We were given the ending speal and she didn't ask if we wanted desert. We had planned on the girls having the desert before we arrived at the restaurant. Slow down, focus and don't pass up tables in your section. Always come back and see that your table has drinks before bringing food, usually after the starters. Pre bus because it makes more room for food. Check back in a timely manner. Be more attentive when you have 3 tables left before the end of the night as you do your side work and cleaning. Don't rush customers just because your ready to go home. We were too after getting drinks but we waited a very long time before the food came out. Im sorry but who ever trained this young lady, she could use more training. And when it's last call any tables that have drinks from the bar, head back and let them know it's last call, because they may order another one or so. Make sure you're customers are taken care of and happy and you will make...
