1st of all it took forever to find parking and it was all paid parking that wasn't all that close. Then, when we got there and got seated the hostess told us the menu was in the form of QR Codes and we had to use our phones to get to them. That would be fine as long as EVERYONE had a phone that was capable of scanning them. Not to mention not everyone is tech savvy. Also the menu was separated into food beer and ciders. You had to scan 3 separate codes instead of seeing the whole menu at once. We finally asked for a paper menu and he said it wasn't as updated as the coded menu. He only had 1 and there were 3 of us. Also for this to be a Pub, they were out of all their hard ciders at lunch time. My friend ordered jalapeño hush puppies and she and her son said they were awful and i tasted a bite and they were right. The waiter asked for orders and my friend told him she and her son wanted a pizza and it was so loud in there i missed the whole thing while trying to look at the menu. He didn't bother to ask me what I wanted. It was a chaotic process. When he came back and said that pizza would be out in a minute I looked up and said y'all already ordered? I told him I didn't want pizza i wanted something else. He said oh I'm sorry what did you want? I told him the burger well done. He went and put it in and a few minutes later their pizza came. It was pitiful. It was 12" for $12.50 and the $5 great value walmart frozen pizzas looked way better. My friend said it wasn't good. Their pizza was gone before I ever got my burger and fries. Not only was the burger Not well done but it wasn't that good either. I would have rather had a Big Mac from McDonald's than that $17 burger. Their ketchup even tasted bad, it was so weird. The only thing that was good was my fries, they were amazing but hardly worth the trip. I've been to a lot of pubs and this was by far the worst 1 I have EVER been to. So do yourself a favor and don't bother going here. Just go to McDonald's, Wal-Mart, or Little...

We have to wait one hour but it was worth it, the food was excellent, the ingredients are high quality, the pizza was amazing. Service was great, highly recommend. One more thing about the waiting time, you can walk around the downtown while you wait they use text to comunícate, after you get the Tex confirming your table is ready you have 10 minutes to show up. this was our review 11 months ago and we came back today and surprise, surprise. This is what we think today. As a customer who recently dined at a restaurant, I have to say that my experience was quite disappointing. The waiter took an unusually long time to even take our drink orders. We sat at the table for a good 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. When the waiter finally came over, he seemed rushed and disinterested, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.

To make matters worse, our drink orders were never refilled. We had to flag down the waiter multiple times just to get a simple refill of water or soda. It was frustrating and inconvenient, especially considering the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time.

When it finally came time to order our food, the waiter took another 25 minutes to come back to our table to take our dinner orders. By that point, we were already hungry and getting impatient. The delay in taking our orders made the overall dining experience feel incredibly slow and dragged out.

The lack of attentive service and the prolonged wait times for basic things like drink refills and taking our food orders really put a damper on what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening out. The slow and inattentive service significantly impacted our overall satisfaction with the restaurant.

As a customer, I expect prompt and attentive service when dining out, and unfortunately, this was sorely lacking during my recent visit. I hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve their service, as it can greatly impact the dining experience and overall customer...

My party of 4 walked in the restaurant, it was pretty busy, but there were a couple tables still open. The hostess gave us a 45 minute estimate wait time, and suggested we sit on the edge of the bar. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambience for a few minutes over some of the sweet tea oven roasted wings, which were delightful, we also enjoyed some drinks and exchanged conversations with the bartender, who was very kind and friendly. We received notice for our table and went to see the hostess, we figured we would get the table that has been empty for the past hour right behind us, but instead we got seated in a back room. Which had a terrible ambiance, no music, quiet, dogs, awkwardness, dog bowls, and a bunch of little kids. This later proved to be a common theme of the room. It was so quiet in there that you could hear the breathing of other parties in the room, and it was uncomfortable to carry on conversations because everyone was listening. We had to go to the front and ask for different seating, specifically for the table that has been empty for the past hour, and we were denied, with somewhat of a threat from the hostess saying we could be put back on the list and wait, which we politely refused. So, instead we asked for the music in the room to be turned on, and it was slightly less awkward. If it were not for the hostess’s attitude and the back room, the actual ambiance of the restaurant is fun and lively, and the staff are kind, adversely to the unappetizing back room. I hope that next time, the hostess will not seat us in a room meant for dogs and children. We did not eat at the Lost Province Brewing Company, we ate in the shadow of...

Lost Province Brewing Company has two locations, their original downtown Boone Gastropub and their Hardin Creek Taproom and production facility on the east side of Boone. Opening its doors downtown in 2014, Lost Province Brewing Company opened its second facility to keep up with demand, adding the production facility in 2021. Their downtown location features the largest and most diverse food menu of all the Boone breweries as they not only offer a large variety of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and pizzas, but they also offer a large variety of snacks and appetizers as well as cheese and charcuterie boards. The Hardin Creek Taproom is only open Friday through Sunday as this is their main production facility. Unlike their downtown gastropub, this location does not have a restaurant but sometimes does have food trucks. Lost Province Brewing Company brews ales and lagers with their most popular beers including Hipster Juice New England Style IPA, Pink Velvet Raspberry Wheat, Kiss My Grits Lager, and The Tubby Monk Belgian Quadrupel. There are plenty of IPA, stout, porter, and pale ales to choose from in their beer list, and they should have something for just about any taste. #HighCountryNC #VisitNC #NCBeer #LocalBrewery #BooneBrews #CraftBeerNC #DrinkLocalNC #BooneEats #BooneBrews #BooneNightlife #DrinkBoone #LocalHangout #NCBeerTrail #BooneNC #DrinkLocal #BooneBrewery

My sister recommended this restaurant and I was extremely disappointed. We ordered a sandwich and Mac and cheese at the recommendation of my sister and were disappointed with both. When we arrived (15 minutes late to pick it up-our fault but were ok with cold food because of this) the food wasn’t even ready yet. We had to wait about 5 more minutes for our food to be ready after already being late. Once we finally did get our food we asked for silverware and the person giving us our order touched the silverware right after touching an electronic payment device. She directly touched the silverware and especially during this time we didn’t feel comfortable using it. In my Mac and cheese I ordered the bacon and roasted garlic. When I started eating it I realized the garlic was not roasted at all and was much closer to raw garlic. Some of Mac and cheese shells were also still hard (not al dente but just not cooked). The sandwich didn’t have the red peppers that are supposed to come with the sandwich. The customer service wasn’t good and the food was just ok. The picture is the “roasted” garlic that was in the Mac and cheese UPDATE: I have been sick all evening after eating this food. Just eat somewhere else!!

Edit: 2025 - we came back, and they were true to their word. They had my drinks! You need to try the pretzel because it had the MOST AMAZING House Made Beer Mustard EVER!! I was disappointed that they don't bottle this stuff!! Our family would buy it in a heartbeat. It was like mustard seed with horseradish. Clears out the sinuses! Lost Providence - Let me know if you ever bottle. We will drive up from Florida to buy it. Our server, Carter. Was attentive and handled our group of mine with ease. 😀 2024: We came here a few nights ago. We tried the Shiny Apple Pie drink that had moonshine. Oh man, it was tasty! For our meal, we shared the Tree Hugger pizza and the almond bread pudding. Honestly, the food and drinks were good. Service was a relaxed pace. Too relaxed at time. We enjoyed the food & drinks so much, we came back on a Monday night. They were out of moonshine for the Shiny Apple, AND they were out of tequila, so no margaritas. That was actually the reason we returned, so we were sorely disappointed. Hopefully, when you visit, they will have the moonshine / tequila for the Shiny Apple Pie /Margarita drinks. Rating is three stars since they were out of the liquor needed to make the drinks.
