1st of all it took forever to find parking and it was all paid parking that wasn't all that close. Then, when we got there and got seated the hostess told us the menu was in the form of QR Codes and we had to use our phones to get to them. That would be fine as long as EVERYONE had a phone that was capable of scanning them. Not to mention not everyone is tech savvy. Also the menu was separated into food beer and ciders. You had to scan 3 separate codes instead of seeing the whole menu at once. We finally asked for a paper menu and he said it wasn't as updated as the coded menu. He only had 1 and there were 3 of us. Also for this to be a Pub, they were out of all their hard ciders at lunch time. My friend ordered jalapeño hush puppies and she and her son said they were awful and i tasted a bite and they were right. The waiter asked for orders and my friend told him she and her son wanted a pizza and it was so loud in there i missed the whole thing while trying to look at the menu. He didn't bother to ask me what I wanted. It was a chaotic process. When he came back and said that pizza would be out in a minute I looked up and said y'all already ordered? I told him I didn't want pizza i wanted something else. He said oh I'm sorry what did you want? I told him the burger well done. He went and put it in and a few minutes later their pizza came. It was pitiful. It was 12" for $12.50 and the $5 great value walmart frozen pizzas looked way better. My friend said it wasn't good. Their pizza was gone before I ever got my burger and fries. Not only was the burger Not well done but it wasn't that good either. I would have rather had a Big Mac from McDonald's than that $17 burger. Their ketchup even tasted bad, it was so weird. The only thing that was good was my fries, they were amazing but hardly worth the trip. I've been to a lot of pubs and this was by far the worst 1 I have EVER been to. So do yourself a favor and don't bother going here. Just go to McDonald's, Wal-Mart, or Little...
Read moreWe have to wait one hour but it was worth it, the food was excellent, the ingredients are high quality, the pizza was amazing. Service was great, highly recommend. One more thing about the waiting time, you can walk around the downtown while you wait they use text to comunícate, after you get the Tex confirming your table is ready you have 10 minutes to show up. this was our review 11 months ago and we came back today and surprise, surprise. This is what we think today. As a customer who recently dined at a restaurant, I have to say that my experience was quite disappointing. The waiter took an unusually long time to even take our drink orders. We sat at the table for a good 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. When the waiter finally came over, he seemed rushed and disinterested, which set the tone for the rest of the evening.
To make matters worse, our drink orders were never refilled. We had to flag down the waiter multiple times just to get a simple refill of water or soda. It was frustrating and inconvenient, especially considering the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time.
When it finally came time to order our food, the waiter took another 25 minutes to come back to our table to take our dinner orders. By that point, we were already hungry and getting impatient. The delay in taking our orders made the overall dining experience feel incredibly slow and dragged out.
The lack of attentive service and the prolonged wait times for basic things like drink refills and taking our food orders really put a damper on what was supposed to be an enjoyable evening out. The slow and inattentive service significantly impacted our overall satisfaction with the restaurant.
As a customer, I expect prompt and attentive service when dining out, and unfortunately, this was sorely lacking during my recent visit. I hope that the restaurant takes steps to improve their service, as it can greatly impact the dining experience and overall customer...
Read moreMy party of 4 walked in the restaurant, it was pretty busy, but there were a couple tables still open. The hostess gave us a 45 minute estimate wait time, and suggested we sit on the edge of the bar. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambience for a few minutes over some of the sweet tea oven roasted wings, which were delightful, we also enjoyed some drinks and exchanged conversations with the bartender, who was very kind and friendly. We received notice for our table and went to see the hostess, we figured we would get the table that has been empty for the past hour right behind us, but instead we got seated in a back room. Which had a terrible ambiance, no music, quiet, dogs, awkwardness, dog bowls, and a bunch of little kids. This later proved to be a common theme of the room. It was so quiet in there that you could hear the breathing of other parties in the room, and it was uncomfortable to carry on conversations because everyone was listening. We had to go to the front and ask for different seating, specifically for the table that has been empty for the past hour, and we were denied, with somewhat of a threat from the hostess saying we could be put back on the list and wait, which we politely refused. So, instead we asked for the music in the room to be turned on, and it was slightly less awkward. If it were not for the hostess’s attitude and the back room, the actual ambiance of the restaurant is fun and lively, and the staff are kind, adversely to the unappetizing back room. I hope that next time, the hostess will not seat us in a room meant for dogs and children. We did not eat at the Lost Province Brewing Company, we ate in the shadow of...
