Mike's Inland Seafood — Restaurant in Boone

Great place for seafood! No frills, just delicious food. It may take a little while for the food to come out but that's because they're making it fresh! Everything I've had here so far has been delicious. They have specials during the week with all-u-can eat deals! The servers are very friendly, helpful and down to earth. Well, UPDATE on feb.26, 2019. We went here for my 60th Birthday celebration dinner. It was a Tuesday and there wasn't anyone eating here except 2 people. They left a little while after we arrived. We arrived between 7-730. We ordered 2 snow crab dinners, scallops and fried catfish. Also cheese fries for an appetizer. It took a LONG time for our food to come out!! ( it WAS delicious, as usual tho!) We were the only ones there! We got our food very late and all around us people were vacuuming and spraying cleaner ( or using it, whatever) the smell was getting in to our mouths as if we were tasting it. They were yelling from right behind us across the room to another person asking if they had done the bathrooms yet.They close at 9 and it was getting close to 9..like 8:30 when this was happening. THEY brought our food out late, it wasn't our fault we were still eating! We had planned to have my birthday cake there and had it in the car waiting but never got to do that because we felt so very uncomfortable with the cleaning all around us and the smell of cleaner getting into our mouths, plus the fact that it had gotten so late..We felt very RUSHED and couldnt enjoy our meal because of everything going on. I felt it was very rude of them to be doing that while we were eating especially the cleaner. When I worked in a restaurant we were NEVER allowed to clean in the dining room until ALL customers were gone! It ruined what was supposed to be a fun night for us but hubby kept saying enjoy your food and finish it dont rush, so we tried to make the best of it. My grandson was unhappy because we didnt get to have the cake there which was something he was looking forward to. We left at like 9:02 and they were pretty much done with all their cleaning! Dont get me wrong, the servers are very sweet and ours was friendly and helpful and even took a pic of us when we asked, it's just the fact that we felt so rushed and unwanted there when they started cleaning all around us like they were telling us to 'Get Out!'. I love this place, WE love this place but I don't think we will be coming back or suggesting this place to others. SAD. You can see in the pic of my husband the time is like 8:32, we had just gotten our meal and I took pics...a little while later of each plate. You can ALSO see the place is empty. I understand completely when servers want to go home...its a long, hard job and at the end of the day they want to go home. I know how that feels. But we couldnt just leave our supper we waited so long for! Plus, it was snow crab which takes a while. Anyway, we were very disappointed in the professionalism of this place and unfortunately will not...

Best Seafood we have ever eaten and Service is outstanding , great place for Celebrating as we do every year for wedding anniversary and Birthdays. we also love to take our family here when they are able to visit us. She usually works lunch . Great lady as they are all great servers there but she really struck a core with us from many years ago . Oh heads up they are closed on Mondays. Best Hidden gem for the greatest seafood 😋well we went their Yesterday early Birthday 🎉🎂 Dinner for my awesome Husband he turned 85 what a blessing the staff is singing Happy Birthday to my Husband and I slipped them candles the were in gold color with two numbers 85 they put them on a chocolate silk piece of pie and it was so good . The lunch combo was outstanding the food is always top notch as well as the service thank you Gloria for such great service as always prayers for you to get fully better and through your up coming surgery your in our prayers and thoughts 🤔 everyday. The whole staff is to be notice for such a great and outstanding performance they do to make sure you feel at home. Can't wait to go back again.it is well worth the 1hour and a. Half drive . HORRIBLE!!! My family lives in boone and we had heard of Mikes inland seafood. We went out for a walk around our house and we're walking by when I saw it was 1:43 we where trying to make up our minds on what to eat and I saw we where close to makes inland seafood so we decided to stop by it was our first time but I wish we never went there but I think it was good because if we had gone tthree on a a special occasion we would've been HORRIBLY desilonted.Any who, when we walked in it smelled of grease and oil we got sat down in the middle of the room even though there were better tables around us. The wait her brought us hush puppies and we said we hadn't ordered them. The waiter told us the hush puppies are a part of the meal and are like the chips and salsa of there restaurant( beacuase in Mexican restaurants they usually give you a basket of chips and salsa) so we said okay. They gave us our menus but they had kinda like grease all over them but we just wiped them of with a napkin. They told us what we wanted to drink and all 4 of us chose water. The waitress came back with our waters and said they ran out of starts and they were only 2 left. We didn't think of it to much.10 minutes later a van pulled in the drive way and out came out 14 grown men anddo came in our waitress seated them and they got there drinks when the waitress came in with...
