Heres my complete and honest thoughts on mo sweets since it's opened as someone who has visited it frequently.
They definitely can be super fun but I would say that their prices have been over charged not just for the quality any more but also the ingredients.
There's a review even brining this up and there were claims that the ingredients were from all around the world France, Switzerland, Greece, Etc. While yes that's often how world wide shipping works the products used can be seen for the most part and are commonly seen in grocery stores and if not then it could be found on Amazon for around 12$ for a gallon of the sauce.
We've personally had mostly good experiences here the atmosphere of the seating area is clean and to be completely honest it looks like a Pinterest board come to life but over the last few months it does feel like this small buisness went from being an owner's dream to slowly loosing passion for the craft.
Of course we can't see behind the scenes but the staff we have met besides the owner have been mostly unpleasant, and while job functionality is extremely important so is changing your gloves, being respectful and keeping professionalism. I can admit that my husband had posted a review after being upset because a younger worker was pretty disrespectful at first and we waited without issue because we understand it takes time to serve other customers and make food etc but when she got to us we could hear the music blasting from her ears and she asked us what we wanted a few times including some "huh?" "Did you say you wanted....?" And it was entirely the wrong order. Etc until finally she got it and it was still wrong and after watching her go to the bathroom twice without changing gloves drop her glove on the floor and put it back on while it was very ripped and you could see open skin she proceeded to go behind the line to start making someone else's food I believe it was like ice cream swirls or something may have been a crepe but they were 5 swirled logs in a cup and with that we decided to cancel our order no harm no foul. She called MGT and tried to pretend like she just had freshly ripped her glove when she face timed him to get instructions on how to do a refund which was ended up being in cash instead (which is fine obviously more just was not paying 16$ for two drinks to be made without sanitary staffing conditions) she proceeded to go on about how all she had to do was push the button on the blender however after the bathroom incident we actually payed close attention and she hadn't started anything for our order and there was still one more ahead of us.
After the review from my husband was made MGT was neglectful of the sanitary conditions to his staff and buisness.
Saying that they put a 1 person shift because it was the 4th of July and repeating their standards for sanitary practice but not reviewing the fact it was not upheld seemingly blaming it on the fact their a small buisness.
We love our small and local business and try to support them the best we can however this feels inexcusable by management to not take accountability of sanitary conditions, to only have a 1 staff shift or not close during a holiday if they couldn't provide the staff needed to safely, cleanly, and semi efficiently run the store and then to use the fact that they are a small buisness as a scape goat for responsibly...
Read morei usually donât write reviews but I went here today and I think i had the most if not the worst service ever. We walked in and werenât acknowledged whatsoever. when the workers stopped conversating they come over and ask if we are ready, unenthusiastically. we ordered what we wanted and there was not a single other soul in the place. There was a blonde girl with a ponytail, another brunette woman, and another man with dark curly hair. They seemed like they didnât want to be there at all. We order and sit down, recieve drinks about 10 min after(a water). may i mention the extremely insane prices for the quality youâre getting. i ordered mini pancakes and my friends order crepes. every single fruit that was on our plates was frozen solid. why are yâall advertising fresh fruit when my friend couldnât even finish her crepe bc the fruits inside were frozen solid. these arenât real crepes. they are pancakes. I will never be returning to this place and iâm so sorry to anyone who goes here. unethusiatic workers and terrible food for the price. manangement need to step and and tell them employees to fix their attitude. also thereâs fake reviews for this place. the employees definitely went and added some 5 star reviews. thereâs no way anyone would rate this place 5 stars. shut this place down or get new staff that knows how to prepare...
