The worst starbucks hands down I have ever been to. I don't have a complicated drink at all. I have ordered it at starbucks in many places, and this is the only store that gives me attitude with what I order and claims they can't do it. This morning, the excuse was it isn't standard?? Whatever that means. Thats exactly what i was told by the person ringing me up. I am willing to pay for whatever request I have, and my request isn't out of the ordinary. Then I wait for my order after adjusting it to fit the cashiers standards. A female employee yells my name and tells me we don't do this and I'll do it today but never again? Who speaks to someone like that? It's a drink that I am paying for. I ordered a venti iced latte in a trenta cup, an extra shot half brown sugar, half vanilla with salted cold foam, and no caramel. Why is that so difficult, especially as I am willing to pay for whatever. So, I adjusted my order to regular cold foam since removing the caramel is an issue. So after I receive my drink with attitude. It has no extra shot and caramel in the foam. After this happening about 10 times now at this location and the attitude and horrible customer service, I'll go back to the harris teeter one in town, no problem!!! Read moreI’m fairly new to the app and tried to use it just now. Easy and I was kinda proud of this old girl using technology. BUT I failed to schedule it for later pick up and it was to be ready at 7:15, an unobtainable time for me. So I quickly searched how to delete an order on the app and learned that was NOT an option. So, going old school, I called and explained my dilemma. The barista said she couldn’t delete the order. So I said when you see the order physically come in on your computer screen, can you just make a note or just disregard and I will come into the store and explain so the drink can be made at that time. That way no one has to remember anything. “We can’t do that” So I have a nice fresh coffee waiting 2 hours for me to pick up and enjoy on my way to work. I guess I failed at technology. So it goes. Any recourse Starbucks?
Update folks. So I go into Starbucks about 9:10 the time I intended to pick up my drink. I told the barista my big faux pas and we looked through the prepared drinks on the counter. I said I’d take it even if it was two hours old, but there was no drink with my name, Josephine on it. Most the employees there are great, however one particular (which I later found out was a shift supervisor after complaining to the manager Sarah)completely ruined my experience for this store completely. This employees name was Ashlyn and I hope to God no other paying customer has to deal with this incompetent student again. After ordering a very simple drink I waited at the end of the counter over 20 minutes. Watching other customers that came behind me get there drinks one after another. While I sat there waiting for 20 minutes I whitnessed this young lady talk to other fellow employees like complete trash. I walked up and asked this Ashlyn lady why my drink has not came out yet, she proceeded to tell me “hold on a minute please” and walked to the back room. I then walked back to the end of the counter and could actually see her in the back room. Low and behold she’s standing there eating what appeared to be chicken wings! I ended up leaving at this point with no drink and lost $5! I will never go back to this Starbucks until this Ashlyn character is out of the question.
