La Potranca Mexican and Latin Food — Restaurant in Bossier City

Mediocre at best. Was just us and the staff inside the restaurant. Took a while to get our order, queso with meat was extremely greasy. Burrito with ground beef was greasy, to the point it was just oozing out of it. Rice and beans plate that was brought out was very cold to the touch, and when I asked for a new plate waitress looked pretty annoyed. Then the second plate brought out was lukewarm. The chicken, steak and shrimp had no flavor at all, extremely bland. Only things that were good with good flavor were the horchata and the beans. The gratuity was included in the bill at 15%. I would’ve left a lot more than that as I usually do at restaurants but this one definitely barely deserved even that 15%. Don’t waste your time folks. Especially if your from TX, just wait till your back in TX to get some Mexican food.

Update: I could not understand a thing you said. I can understand that you have a very unprofessional establishment and mentality though. The cameras won’t tell you that the food was cold, and had no flavor at all. Good luck in the future, hopefully you fix your mentality and...

Had the Menudo and it was delicious but turned out expensive. I felt good because I brought a friend with me because he said Bossier has no good Mexican food so I was able to prove him wrong. My disappointment was it was only he and I tonight and the gratuity was included on both our bill. Which I was not told or made aware of until I left. So with their tip included and my tip… well that’s over 25% gratuity for a lady doing serving a bowl of soup. Good food or not. You can’t cheat people like this and expect them to come back. Very disappointed and it’s not the cash it’s the principal. My card was charged extra without my approval. What does the pandemic have to do with you charging gratuity when it was only two of us at the table and at the restaurant besides the waitress , cook and her boyfriend? Your reply makes no...

We ordered to go : Torta Mexicana and Enchiladas Suizas @12,00 dollars each. The torta was mainly bread and a bit of lettuce. The meat ground beef was at most a tea spoon worth. The enchiladas where no better With cheese and flour tortillas and again with a light sprinkle of ground beef. You cant make this up! it was less than whats left in bottom of skillet at home when you go to wash. Think of a light sprinkle of pepper for color or garnish. lets just stop there.
