We had the best experience 2/2o. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by our host Ms Nikki Washington. She took us to our table. Gave us our menus, took our drink orders and let us know our waitress would be with us momentarily. Her customer service skills were impeccable. Her personality was open and she came back to check with us several times as the restaurant was not very busy at this time. She gave all of us, we the customers many joyful interactions. Our waitress Ms Jasmine M, she was such a joy and breath of fresh air. Just as our hostess was awesome beyond measure, our waitress Ms Jasmine was as well. My two ladies smiles never left their faces, the twinkles in their eyes as my fiance and myself, well we are extremely goofy and enjoy having fun. Even our bartender was also sharing a laugh with us as well as several customers around the bar area. Now you may ask why I felt the need to leave such a glowing review over my ladies, their service was on point. Their attentiveness was on point. Our food was delicious, meaning the cook staff was also on point. There was even the most kindly young man helping clean the tables, he was just joyful and yes I had to speak with him also and let him know how.much I appreciated him. So background for you now. I am 55 years old. I have been in management/customer service/food service since the age of 17. I am.old school and let me tell you, everyone on staff that night not only did their job, they went above and beyond what is required of them. These are the type of employees that deserve recognition and praise. You see in this day and age to many customers only want to tell you the bad and many times just to get free food. These employees of this location, on this night, well they made our night even more special than just us getting to spend our evening together. I will be contacting the manager/ owner operators to be sure these wonderful employees are praised and rewarded in some manner. And I myself will also be returning to this place, they have redeemed outback for me. The last time I was in outback was ten years ago and in Shreveport. It left such a bad taste in my mouth I will never return to that location. But Bossier, yes I will return. And when I do I pray my awesome crew from 2/20 , Jasmine and Nikki are there to take care of me again. Thank you so much for listening to me rant but we only ever hear the bad. Read moreWe just left the restaurant after not getting drinks that my wife asked for 3 times, and i had also asked for her to get another drink as well, every time we asked the bartender went to assist other customers or just walked of and attempted to clean up around the bar that wasn’t very clean at that, i was able to get an appetizer and my wife was able to order her meal and after that the bartender just walked away and didn’t even ask me if I wanted anything to eat for a meal, so my wife had to get the bartenders attention again after they went to assist other customers and my wife had to tell the bartender that I wanted to eat more than just an appetizer in which I finally got to put my order in, my wife was able to get and finish eating her meal before mine even arrived, after the 3 time of my wife asking for another drink that she didn’t even get she went to the restroom and I got the bartenders attention to get my wife the drink she asked for and they said they would take care of it, to which they just went and assisted other customers instead of making my wife’s drink, a server that had brought us our food had came back to get the empty dishes and asked if we needed anything and I told them that I really just wanted to get the drink that my wife asked for and the bartender was standing rite by the bar and heard me saying that to the server, they then finally asked me if we were ok and i told them AGAIN that I would really like to get the drinks my wife had asked several times for, they then just walked away and assisted another customer that was sitting next to us instead of making the drinks, this was the worst service i have EVER received from a restaurant in my life….., i can honestly say that the only positive thing that we experienced was that the manager actually came to talk with us before we even ordered food and we were able to explain to them of my wife’s allergies to certain foods and they discussed the foods they could make just for her so that she wouldn’t get sick and that was greatly appreciated, but even her dinner was over cooked and she just didn’t want to complain because they went through the trouble of making food just for her to eat, so my real concern was the lack of service from the bartender who failed to provide my wife with the drinks that she ordered and basically made us feel like we were not important enough to serve. Read moreIn celebrating three birthdays our party of 12 of family and extended met at Outback Steakhouse in BossierCIty, Louisiana. My son called last night to make reservations and was told to call back this morning at 1100 hours to reseve a table of 12. When calling at 1100 hours was told. "On holidays we don't do reservations," and the hostess hung up. After arriving at 1815 hours, our party was seated an hour later with 4 of our party seated at the opposite side of the room from us. Three hours later, two of our party left without receiving their meals. The meals arrived just under four hours into our wait. One meal of just shrimp did not arrive at all. The Joey style steak for my granddaughter was burned to a crisp and I gave her the steak from my meal. Sadly the steak given to her was extremely salted to the point that she ate very little of it. The manager replaced my steak with one which was brought to our table earlier and no one ordered. The meal was the same plated steak and asparagus which the servers attempted to give our table earlier and was not part of the order. This was to replace the steak from my plate which was given to my granddaughter. The steak received was extremely tough, too rare, and much smaller than what was originally ordered. The macoroni and cheese served to one of our party was terrible. We spoke to the manager twice with these concerns. I wish this was an isolated incident, yet this same service occurred December 19, 2024 for my daughter's birthday. The pasta dish received by one family member had a small amount of steak and shrimp across a bed of pasta with sauce. Again, the pasta dish was ineditable. The manager compensated for the terrible service of the whole meal by removing the cost of the less expensive Joey meal. We retrieved the birthday cake, which we brought for the celebration, from the kitchen and departed. There about 5 several parties who left after the extreme wait times of receiving meals tonight. The manager said he spent a lot of time listening to the multiple complaints this evening. I am normally a very patient person and teach customer service skills, motivational interviewing skills, prevention and management of disruptive behavior, resolution management, and verbally intervention skills at a major medical center. The Outback Steakhouse needs an overhaul in customer service...
