David Beards — Restaurant in Bossier City

My ratings go as such: #1: we were NOT greeted coming but going (n that was only by manager!) Very nice man! #2 servers looked at me and my sister like "why df!!! #3 sign clearly said wait to be seated but after the servers looked at for so long, we were finally told to seat ourselves!!!! #4 server waited until we had been sitting for about 5 min before taking even our drink order. #5 But her pleasant attitude and smile saved her tip!!! Me as a server should understand the tiresome and the tables that have to be cleaned. So when I realized and put myself in position, I had to commend my server. Took my mom here for mother's day. We had a total of 13 in our party they were busy and short-handed and the waitress was horribly horribly rude. She basically told us to shut up she wouldn't answer any questions until she got our drinks served. Several of us Got the all you can eat when they brought our plates they had three pieces of fish on it and it took forever to have more brought out. The spicy fish was dry with no meat on the inside of the breading and the regular had no flavor at all the bean soup was Bland and again the waitress was horribly rude. Service was very friendly!! Onion rings A+ The ranch dressing was extra thick! Ordered the Seafood Platter. It was enjoyable. Food gets 4 ⭐️’s because the cocktail sauce. It tasted like just ketchup and vinegar. Coming from south Louisiana I’m used to the cocktail sauce having horseradish, lemon juice and hot sauce in it also. Service 5 ⭐️’s. Waitress was a lovely lady who was friendly and outgoing. Atmosphere also gets 4 ⭐️’s. The restaurant was quaint and felt like a time capsule from 1972.
