Visited this place a second time as out-of-town guest. To summarize my experience....horrible. I entered the restaurant at 7:15pm (they at 8:00pm) and the server was dumping the mac-n-cheese in the trash. Once he saw me he placed the mac-n-chees back on serving line...needless to say it was old and tasted horrible. The meats (I had the sausage, brisket and chicken) were cold and the chicken was undercooked. I also had the green beans and they were cold...became obvious the green beans were setting on the serving line a long time. I am hoping I don't get food poisoning from this experience as I am travelling. This visit was such a let down compared to the first time I visited two weeks earlier. The manager was on duty this visit and the food was awesome. Only kids and young adults were on duty tonight when I visited and their only motivation was to close exactly at 8:00pm so they could leave. Needless to say, I won't be going back. Highly recommend NOT di ing at this place. Much better food available in Bossier City cooked and served by...
Read moreWhen I think of BBQ I think of something that's made with time and real ingredients. The sausage is ok. The taters(mashed) ain't even real taters. Pity cuz instant taters aren't served with BBQ. Had I known this was the case I would've gotten the baked tater instead. Tater salad leaves something to be desired as well. It's almost as if they used the instant taters to make this as well. It's sad a BBQ joint can't even offer REAL potato dishes yet serve baked taters. Back to the sausage I've had worse and I've had better. So there's that at least. Restaurant was clean so that's a positive. Hostess was polite courteous and quick in prep of the meats. Corn on the cob left quite a bit to be desired as well. Ribs weren't too bad. IMO don't waste your $$ or time unless you JUST HAVE to have...
Read moreI dont like leaving bad reviews. I rarely do. However, i feel like i needed to in this case. Me and my best friend stopped to have a quick dinner and enjoy some barbeque ribs..Or so we thought we would anyways. While we were getting our food on our plates there were couple of flies that kept landing on the food. I got the side orders that i didnt see any land on but once we were seated we had to constantly swat at flies to keep them off of our food. It didnt work everytime though. They landed on our food despite our efforts to keep them off. Needless to say, $35 For 2 meals and wasnt able to even eat our food. The lady cleaning the tables could see we were fighting flies and she coulda cared less obviously. I usually love the barbeque at Podnuhs but i doubt i will be back for...
