Wendy's — Restaurant in Bossier City

Summary: A once great quality, in food and service, Wendy's has slowly decended, over a course of 2 to 3 years, to become unreliable, low quality, and rude in the aspect of customer service. It's a darn shame. The whole fiasco happened from 0505 pm to 0523 pm

As a previous fast food worker myself I tend to give generous leeway, when it comes to service quality; but this Wendy's has become a uniquely terrible disappointment. I have come here about once a month for the past decade. I have many friends and family that live near it, so it is very convenient, and i like the food. Every time I come through the drive through I have to wait about 5 minutes, at a minimum, if I'm the first one. In the past that hasnt bother me, due to decent quality food and acceptable customer service. However, wait times seem to have gotten worse over the past year. I gave it a slide, because there were generally a few people in the lobby; and in my experience they give a great lobby experience.

I drive in today and there were no customers in the parking lot or drive through, so I think the drive through should be quick. I should've known better, as soon as I pull up to the speaker I hear "please wait a moment." I think to myself, dang oh well; and then start enjoying a conversation with my wife, while checking on my daughter in the back seat. After a good bit of talking I look down and see it's been somewhere between 5 and 10 minutes. So I say "sir are you there?" Honestly I thought they probably just forgot I was there, no harm no foul. The same man comes across "one moment sir." This time I could hear some irritation in his voice, and I recognized it too, it was the shift lead who helped me the last time. For the record, he is normally friendly, it is because of his historical good demeanor I decide turn off my car and wait.

I continue talking to my wife and another 10ish minutes go by. So I roll down the window and ask, "are yall alright in there?" The response I got was controlled, but clearly very irritated, the man said "We will help you in one moment sir." I don't know what was going on but I look behind me and see a line has formed and think maybe the computer system crashed, I'll come back another day. As I drive away I look in, the drive through window, and see about 5 or 7 folks laughing and having, what seemed like, a great time. When I saw that, I have to admit, I was livid. To get out I had to pass the lobby windows again. As I passed those windows I looked inside, thinking maybe a bunch of customers were inside, but there was no one, aside from the employees inside. At that point I decided I needed to post this negative review.

This once decent Wendy's had no customers inside, a growing line ar the drive through, and employees that seemed to be goofing off. I am genuinely disappointed, since I was looking forward to having some Wendy's today but Zaxbies will have to do. I don't know what is wrong but i hope it...

Wendy's drive thru time wait is always long even if there aren't any other cars waiting. There fries are never fresh or hot the last few times I have went which has been all thus week and last. I have been served old hamburgers patties on my burgers. Which I know they are supposed to remove after a certain period of time and prepare for fresh. Nuggets have been okay but still you can tell they have been sitting there for awhile. But my thing is if you have your customers sitting for longer than 10 minutes in drive thru after their order has been taken. There's no reason why any of the food in the order should be old or not fresh. For the time it takes to get the order waiting in drive thru or at the window that's enough time to drop fresh fries,nuggets and have a fresh patty oe chicken for the burgers. If they are going to make thr customer's wait extensive times as they do at least make it worth the wait. I have been late going back to work from lunch because I've literally have spent that much time in the drive thru waiting. I don't know if they are running on a skeleton crew or they have a lot of newbies in there. But the food aspect and wait time hasn't been good. Now I will say that the customer service kind of makes up for it. They greet you when you are ordering and at the window. But that's it. And I...

After spending the day crying my eyes out & not eating all day, I got up to grab the closest thing that was still open. I placed a mobile order for a salad at this Wendy’s location. When I arrived to pick it up, they were sold out. I seriously felt as though the day couldn’t get any worse so I said, “Screw it. I’m so ready for this day to be done. I’ll just go to bed without eating.” Thank God Shaterika & LaToya were working the window that night!! They saw the frustration & disappointment on my face when I found out that my order was unavailable, and they were determined to make it right. I came in tears but drove off with the biggest smile. Those ladies had no idea that I was having such a terrible day. They were simply being themselves & doing their job. I have officially received the best customer service ever (definitely TOP TIER)…and it was from my neighborhood Wendy’s. Good people are still out there! I was blessed to come across them last nught!!! ♥️...
