PLEASE STOP GIVING THIS PLACE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND VALUABLE TIME. They do not care about you, the quality and timeliness of your food, your time with family, and your true satisfaction. There are too many other good options in this area that we can choose and show Texas Roadhouse they will lose business if they continue to operate as they are. Surely, I am not the only “unsatisfied many times over” customer. I will say that this is not the 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd time that I have had a terrible experience at Texas Roadhouse, Bossier City, LA. It has become a running joke amongst my family and friends of how bad it is especially my meals every time. Yet we continue to give them chance after chance in hopes they will become the kind of restaurant they were a decade or so ago. If it wasn’t for the rolls and butter that my adult kids like, I think we would have stopped years ago. Tonight was the final straw and why I will never darken the doorway of this disgusting establishment again. I hope that someone reads this and also chooses better for their money, time, and quality food fulfillment. I ended up being off work tonight so I took this opportunity to ask my kids and girlfriend to join me for dinner. Due to our work schedules, this is not easy to do. My girlfriend chose Texas Roadhouse. We did the online waitlist which had its own issues when we were to be seated. The place was busy so the service was slow as to be expected bc they seem to never have enough wait or kitchen staff. Our waitress was nice and did her best; this post is no reflection on her efforts and she was paid full tip. We ordered drinks and appetizer. They didn’t have the appetizer we wanted, so we settled for something else; not a big surprise that they didn’t have something available after you order it. We later ordered our food. Then we sat for over an hour. Couple salads and the appetizer came out. Then two of the 6 people got their food. Time ticked away to an unknown amount but long enough for those two to completely finish their meals even while talking with the rest of us. The waitress said she didn’t know what happened and went to check. Time continued to go by. Remember this is my night off and I do have things to do other than wait on sub, sub, subpar food at their leisure. We eventually got our food and the horror continued. My three filet medallions were cold and tough as beef jerky. They were to be medium rare. Two of my kids ordered beef tips meals (medium rare) which were also cold and tough while hidden under slightly warm gravy. My gf had a steak that was very tough and cold which is saying a lot bc she likes well done. She ate hers bc she saw I was upset which saddens me for her enjoyment. My kids boxed their meals to take home out of respect for me spending so much on garbage food and saw me upset. I sent my “shoe leather” back when the manager came to ask if something was wrong with our meal after the waitress had already told him about the timing and quality which is what sent him to our table. He took my meal off and gave a 10% discount with our military discount. Yet, here I was with no meal when I really wanted a steak which sparked our outing in the first place. Two of my kids didn’t eat, and my gf ate only out of concern for my well being. We should have only paid for the two meals that came at the first round though very late as well as the drinks and appetizer. The three other meals should have been removed along with mine. We wouldn’t have taken a thing home bc no one is really going to eat this garbage to include my dog bc she gets better food than this and more care for who she is and her time with family. Now it is too late for me to eat and too late to run the errands I needed. Two of my kids didn’t eat and my gf forced just the steak down. You can bet they got more than $100 of my hard earned money. I placed an online order and payed the first time..all I ordered was a half dozen of rolls when I got there to pickup my order I was told it would be awhile because someone had placed a large order for rolls and they were out. The large order was still waiting on more rolls and instead of them giving me 6 rolls I was told I had to wait! I then told them to just cancel because they could not give me an estimated time frame on how long the wait would be. I literally drove from Shreveport to bossier just for rolls! I ordered online and still did not get them. The manager on duty at the time said they would refund my online order and I left. I really didn't think much about it because 6 rolls was less than 3 dollars but when I went to look at my online account I was never refunded! Still today 12/30/2021 I haven't been refunded and this was the week of Thanksgiving. I love the food this review has nothing to do with food quality but customer service! Even after this happened I never worried about the refund or telling a manager about it. I placed another order from here on Christmas eve, ordered online again, drove from Shreveport again. I ordered an Adult Entree and a kids meal and another half dozen rolls. I got there received text my order was ready and while checking to make sure my order was correct I see there are no rolls! I asked why and was told they were out at the moment and there would be about a 10 minute wait. So basically if I had not taken the time to check my food I would have never known my rolls were missing. The employee that gave me my order didn't say im sorry we are out of rolls they are not in ur order or nothing! Not only is an entree supposed to come with rolls but I ordered and payed for a half dozen! Nobody was going to say anything until I asked??!! I proceeded inside to speak with a manager who promptly went to the area rolls are distributed and got me some. I checked the bag only had 4 rolls but it wasn't worth me going back to complain. My food was cold at this point I was frustrated and nobody apologized for the inconvenience. Customer service has went out the window at this place! I would normally not write reviews like this but since no one seemed to care at the restaurant I felt obligated to write this review. #1 most unfriendly check in crew. They almost make you feel like you're not wanted as a customer. Both myself and my mother felt like no one wanted to help make sure we were on the waitlist when we arrived. We watched countless people be sat that arrived after us. We waited over an hour for a table. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 pm. The hostess wanted to argue with me on the arrival time instead of help give me an approximate idea of when we would be sat. The hostess was simply rude instead of trying to be helpful. We had reservations for a New Year's Eve event that started at 7:30. We did not leave Texas Roadhouse until 8:30. Texas Roadhouse should not be a 3 hr experience. #2 - We placed our food order as soon as we sat down. It took over an hour to get our food. The kids were miserably hungry at this point. 3 of our orders were wrong. 1 was not edible. The chicken strips were supposed to be extra crispy and they were wet with uncooked flour. #3 upon mentioning this to the server she completely dismissed our complaint and offered no resolution. #4 manager delivered our food order and was trying to be funny as he passed it out but we were not on a comical mood as we had just contemplated getting up as he arrived so we didn't miss our event. The manage did not seem to care that it took so long to get our food. We also watched 4 tables around us be sat after us and receive their food before us. #5 The level of customer service and attitude is going way down at this location and I hope it changes. This used to be my families favorite place to eat. After tonight no one ever wants to go back. It seems they care more about Togo orders so if you're looking for some of their addicting rolls just go to the Togo window and save yourself...
