Waffle House — Restaurant in Bossier City

We have been to this waffle house 2 times in the last few weeks. The first time we were waited on by Roderick and he was an amazing waiter. He took our drink order right away, our food order quickly, and we had our food within a few minutes. He was pleasant and personable and made our visit great. The food was amazing, too. It had been a while since we had been to a Waffle House. The second time we went was last night. It was after 1 AM on a Saturday night, and the place was packed. There were no tables available when we came in. We brought in a party of 5, so we waited a few minutes for a table to open up. The only person who looked our way staff wise was Roderick. I recognized him right away. He acknowledged we were there, which was nice, no one else did. A table came free, so we started to clean it off just to help out. We sat down, and no one took our drink order, no one acknowledged we were sitting there. Finally, I caught Roderick's attention and asked if he could wait on us. He said that it was not his section but agreed that he would wait on us. The lady whose section it was, we later learned, had a very terrible attitude. She was acting very hostile and unprofessional, and patrons should not have to see discourse between employees like that. There really is no need to be like that on a busy Saturday night. I can't remember if her name was Sarah or Sam, but she also was not wearing a name tag, so she was not going to be easily identified. Roderick took our drink and food orders. Got it into the kitchen as quickly as possible and served us with a smile. He was sweet and conversational when he could even though he was very busy. Another missed chance at redemption!! Sad to say that the Waffle House on Old Minden Rd keeps doing it ALL wrong and it does not matter if you are having it there or taking it home. I’ve realized one of the biggest problems they have is cooking their guest eggs right and that my dears is a VERY BIG PROBLEM since breakfast is the number one thing ordered at Waffle House!! A scrambled egg starts out scrambled from the get go but it seems the last 3 times I’ve ordered my “scrambled” eggs they have given me chopped up hard fried eggs and ladies , gentlemen, cooks and servers we can all agree “a chopped up hard fried egg does not a scramble make.” Now does it? No. We also want to stress that your link sausage is NOT a brown and serve therefore it should be cooked through. You do not want your patrons getting sick now do you? Your answer here should be ...NO. I could go on and on but let me just say there seems to be a lot of I don’t know at this location with a lot of I don’t care and a bit of burnout! My wife and I have had many rocky experiences with this location. Everything you name that could go wrong has. That being said we've had many great experiences as well. One day a few weeks ago my wife and I decided to pull into what seemed to be a ghost town haha. We didn't even see workers from the outside. As we approached the door we were greeted by the nicest most polite respectful waiter we have ever had at this establishment.can not remember his name short guy with glasses and tattoos. As he eagerly got us our drinks and took our order the cook Lois I believe her name was was spectacular. She had our food out in no time. And everything was cooked to perfection. Watching them work together was amazing I've never seen anyone work and communicate together so well. Because of them we will without a doubt be back. I just drove by on my lunch break and saw my favorite cook and reminded me of the great experience I shared with your employees. This...
