This was my first time visiting the location, and the ambiance was fantastic. I really enjoyed the two independent bars, each with its own unique theme, atmosphere, and music. However, the upstairs floor was carpeted and badly soiled, with years of spilled drinks that made it feel like walking through thick mud. Even the dance floor was sticky.
On a positive note, one of the bartenders on the ground floor—a friendly man with plugs and a beard—was professional, kind, and made an excellent drink. Unfortunately, my experience upstairs was less than stellar. When I politely asked the bartender how she was doing, she told me to "wait my turn." She then turned my Gin and Tonic into a Gin and Soda without asking. A little more attentiveness and proper bartending etiquette can go a long way.
Although we had a great time with our large group, the sticky floor made it difficult to move around. At one point, the upstairs dance floor was filled with over 40 people just standing around, possibly to avoid getting stuck in the carpet.
The music was great, though we did notice some songs repeated within a few hours. Both DJs were entertaining, and we had fun overall.
We're looking forward to coming back, but now I know which bartender to seek out and which...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. My husband and I decided to check this bar out while we were in Shreveport. We paid the cover and my husband went to buy a drink. As my husband was walking back with his drink, I was pulled aside by the lady who was collecting money at the front. She asked if I was pregnant and told me that we would need to leave if I am. I don't feel that I looked anymore pregnant than a lot of the other women there. It was extremely embarrassing and my husband and I chose to leave. They did give us back our cover, but I can't believe that this is a policy that they have set in place. It is incredibly offensive and I would never give my business to a...
