I recently answered someone's QnA about how this place has been horrid the past few years, but after a call with a really kind young man the other night they said that there is a new manager. It seems like they are still struggling a bit, but the staff was really kind and I'm hoping the new manager turns this place around! I've only had dominos maybe 2 times in the past few years I've been here and it would be nice to have the cheap and accessible option for late night studying!
I didnt rate the food, service, or atmosphere because it doesn't feel applicable. I'm writing this as a heads up to anyone looking at the reviews so they know that this location may turn itself around in the near future!
Still waiting on a callback from the new manager, hopefully they fix the blacklisting problem regardless--but it would be nice to know they are aware of the issue at a management level. at the end of the day, its Boston and you have a plethora of other options. But with how strict Dominos is with their delivery boundaries, being blacklisted from delivery AT ALL kinda sucks. Dominos might be one of the few chains where you can get pizza that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Its not a big deal, I just expected to have more cheap delivery options living in Boston. Especially from chains. Their other store is down the street, literally the same distance, and they wont deliver because I'm in the delivery zone of the slightly closer store.
edit: actually I guess I should say that they blacklist my neighborhood somewhere between 5-6pm, for pinpoint deliveries, for the rest of the night. They actually delivered pizza to the pinpoint a while back, but that was the only way to get delivery because all addresses in my neighborhood caused the system to reach an error. The blacklisted neighborhood is pretty visible when you got to do pinpoint deliveries past the mentioned time, too. I just hope they remove the blacklist at some point. I know this place was extra sketchy during covid so I assume this is all just leftover...
Read moreI've always ordered from this location because it's convenient but today I've had enough. Delivery driver has no customer service and order came back cold. I have missed a call for the delivery initially but, call response was less than a min no second attempt at all. Driver have picked up and rudely pointed the blame at me stating he called ten times but, my call history states otherwise. The lack of customer service was uncalled for...especially when I've already tipped online gas lighting my first call to the store to complain.
I was put on hold by store after phone pick up. Second call manager was making excuses for why the food isn't cold, (yet I was sitting their warming it up) dictating their is no issue. Order was received 40 mins after the attempt. Instead on showing compassion to an upset customer, manager disagrees with me and that the driver was right to leave. Understandably if the driver is waiting for a long time and did all they can to reach the "paying customer", okay - but to leave with out at least a second call come on now, plus delivery fee is $4.99 and tip! I Rate this place and the manager a 0 star of I could - customer service and business etiquette is not where it needs to be.

Read moreI keep having the same issues with delivery drivers. They are rude when they are not tiped. Sorry I can’t always give out a tip when delivery charges are over 5$. On 09/15/2024 The delivery driver names mustafa shove the pizza to my son because there was no tip provided. When I called the store the assistant manager was speaking over me while I explained what happen and stayed “mustafa is an old man and has never been rude , “I know my employees and they wouldn’t do that” as I explained why would my son and brother in law lie he said to show him proff. Ironically there is cameras in my building and there will be consequences when video shows exactly that. I am tired of this location doing this over and over again . Customer is always right .
