Go for: Hearty breakfast and lunch sandwiches and respectable portion sizes for the price.
Avoid if: You don't want to wait in line in a tiny cafe with minimal seating, and then wait again for your food for an almost unbearable amount of time.
Something surprising: The sandwiches were nearly big enough to feed two adults.
Reservation needed? No, but order ahead and take it to go.
Overall Experience: 3/5. The food was okay, not great, but the portion sizes made up for it. The person taking orders was downright rude (or apathetic?) to customers, and it took at least 20 minutes - no exaggeration - to get two breakfast sandwiches despite only two customers ordering ahead of us. There's almost nowhere to sit, maybe by design. We felt bad for the long line of people that arrived just after us.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWanted to support a local shop but unfortunately it was the worst coffee we have had for a long time. Ended up having to toss them, something Ive never had to do before, and then go to Tatte for a coffee that was miles better.
Coffee was bitter and over-extracted, the Barista working Saturday 16th got the order initially wrong and then produced these two "flat whites" - the milk is not properly frothed for a latte/flat white in either. Furthermore, the coffee was scorching! it burned my mouth. There is no way that coffee was extracted anywhere near 200F or the milk was burned.
Unfortunately by the time it had cooled down we were too far away to return to complain but we won't be coming back...

We ordered an orange juice, they forgot to bring it to the table but already had it sitting out I asked for it and the guy handed it to me. Then as we are leaving he tells me we didnāt pay for the orange juice and to pay again⦠he then charged us $7 for a small orange juice (this is Charlestown, not Brooklyn). The older people working here seem really pleasant, idk if the young guy is their son or what, but his attitude and intentional rudeness are enough to make me never go back on top of the really low...
