Food (5/5): Eagle's deli serves some of the most delicious restaurant-style burgers. Make sure you come in with an appetite though; they are made with 8 oz Angus beef patties and only get larger from there. They are cooked to order and they get the temperature just right. Medium means medium here, not medium well nor medium rare. The burgers are not dripping with tons of extra grease like some other places nor is it lean and dry, but there is just enough fat to keep the burger juicy. The bulkie roll is plain, but it works and is thick enough to hold everything without breaking apart. The cooks take care to stack the fresh toppings neatly so you aren't getting a burger with ingredients falling off before you even take a single bite. Even the cheese doesn't get on the foil wrapped partially around the burger! I've tried the cowboy burger, border burger, and bianco burger. All of them are great. The cowboy burger has some sweet and savory flavors with the bbq sauce, bacon slices, and grilled onions. The border burger has a little kick with jalapenos while the avocado helps mellow out the heat a bit and it's also topped with onion rings. The bianco burger is a more classic burger with just peppers, onions, mushrooms, and American cheese. The burgers include a side of fries, which are pretty good as well. I'm not a huge fan of fries in general, but the regular fries are good. They're knife-cut style, long and crispy. The optional cheese dip is also great! The sweet potato fries are sweet and softer but are crinkle cut instead, yet still, have a nice light crisp to them. Atmosphere: There is plenty of seating here, but it does get crowded at times like Friday evenings. Service (4/5): You're treated right here as well, most of the time. Most of the staff is happy and kind. You can tell they care about what they do here. However, it really does depend on who helps you and this is why I can't give this place a perfect 5 stars. I did have a bad experience with someone who appeared friendly until there was a problem in March 2023. I asked about my burger after a 25-minute wait and he told me it'd take another couple of minutes. After patiently waiting about 15 minutes, I asked him again and he asked what my name and order was. Someone else heard my name and promptly gave me my burger. The original person helping me had clearly forgotten I was waiting even though I was in his sight the whole time standing there waiting. He was unapologetic and got defense saying that it was very busy even though I was just asking about my burger because it had been 40 minutes. Yes, the place was almost full, but I was the only person waiting for food for the last 10 minutes. My food was, unfortunately, a bit colder than usual this time, because it had just been sitting there for over 10 minutes. Better service would have been to check on why I was standing there for 15 minutes if they had forgotten my order, like most other people would do.

Good local neighborhood diner. Nothing fancy and the food reminds me of what I'd make in my own kitchen. I love the local mom & pop shops and this fits the bill!
