After enjoying a delightful dinner, we were in search of the perfect sweet treat to cap off our evening, and FoMu in Boston delivered just that. What sets this place apart is its commitment to being all vegan, which was a refreshing and welcomed change. Vegan ice cream tends to be gentler on the stomach, but sometimes it can fall short in the flavor department compared to traditional dairy ice cream. However, FoMu proved to be a worthy contender. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was charmingly no-frills. But what truly stole the spotlight was the ice cream itself. I'd highly recommend going for the small size because you won't want to miss out on trying as many flavors as possible. Every flavor we sampled was exceptional. The peanut butter chocolate cookie, with its rich and creamy texture, was a heavenly indulgence. The key lime pie flavor was a refreshing burst of tangy sweetness, and the whoopie pie was pure nostalgia in a scoop. FoMu's vegan ice cream not only meets but often exceeds the flavors of its dairy counterparts. As you stroll through the lovely Seaport district in Boston, do yourself a favor and make a pit stop at FoMu. Whether you're a vegan enthusiast or simply in search of high-quality, delicious ice cream, this spot is a must-visit. It's proof that you don't need dairy to create an ice cream experience that truly satisfies the palate.

If you like coconut, welcome to your new favorite dessert spot! Their magic bars are truly magical, and are a great take home staple. I stopped by today to get some ice cream, and was reminded just how giant their small size is. You can get multiple flavors in your cup, so get creative. They have vanilla, chocolate, coffee, and fruit based choices! Bring your appetite!! I've bought a chocolate cake at their Fenway location as well for a work birthday, and it was divine. You really can't go wrong with anything here. Their store is so neat and spacious, and feels so well ventilated for the covid cautious. A great reprieve from the summer heat!

I was excited to try this place, as I'd heard so much hype on the vegan ice cream. Was sorely disappointed, as it's very expensive and you'd be better off buying a pint of Talenti sorbet in the store. We had the Raspberry Crumble flavor, which was just not good (too sweet and sour, and not in a good way). Also making a correction to earlier, the menu board mentioned a soy base for the flavors, but per owner comment is made with coconut. We also both felt a bit sick after eating this, so minus stars for this as well. The music was blasting far too loud, otherwise spoiling what would be a cute interior.

Great customer service! I wish I'd gotten the name of the 2 really great people that served us our ice cream tonight; they were nice & very knowledgeable; but what really stood out for me was the friendliness & laughter - they made us feel at home immediately. As for the Ice cream, I LOVE FoMu! And that's saying a lot coming from me because I don't like coconut. Coconut overpowers all other flavors: if I have coconut almond milk on my cereal, I can't even taste the cereal, I ONLY taste coconut, and that's been my experience with everything made with coconut, EXCEPT FoMu! I've had FoMu at Veggie Galaxy but I'd never been to the FoMu shop until tonight and it was great. I tried several flavors I'd never tried before & loved them all. I highly recommend this shop or this product if you buy it elsewhere! As I always mention in my reviews when relevant, going here supports a small, local, independently...

I just moved to the area and I was walking on this hot day with my dog and we ran out of water and I was just in front of your store and decided to go in to see if I could get her a non-dairy ice for the dog. The guy at the counter was the rudest person I have ever laid eyes on. He stated “we don’t allow dogs in here and that you have to leave.” I was surprised and shocked at his behaviour. And surprised as well to the fact that there was “no pets allowed” sign posted. Interestingly enough, he looked just like a miserable old bloke who appeared to have been to the ringer a hundred times. Bad for business and I will never go or give business to any company that does not allow pets into...
