The ice cream was amazing. My son ordered a Minuta tropical. It started with a scoop of whatever flavored ice cream you want at the bottom topped with a big ball of shaved ice. Then you pick two flavors of syrup for the shaved ice. He picked watermelon and strawberry. They then put condensed milk on top and also tamarind sauce but he did not get the tamirand sauce. And they add pieces of fresh watermelon and pneapple. It was sooo good. The line was long but worth the wait. The staff was super friendly. We picked up some new snacks to take home as well. Very small little shop but it does not disappoint! They have a wide variety of treats and lots of different flavors for the shaved ice and ice cream flavors as well. I had the Minuta regular with mango, passion fruit and pineapple flavor and my husband had the Guanabanazo and both were delicious. We bought some frozen popsicles to bring home in a variety of flavors that are made there, which tasted great and a fair price. Can’t wait to go back and try something else!! Once I got home we realized they have a new and bigger location in Chelsea that I look forward to...

Instantly my favorite ice cream shop of all time! A variety of great flavors, you can get some in combination with a mix of fruits and it is to die for. Hands down better than anything at any stores. I've been to awesome gelato shops in Italy that I thought were the best, but I was soo impressed by this place. It's a gem of Eastie for sure!
