RE owner response: This interaction happened at 11:56am that day, I had gone back in immediately to ask the cashier if the amount of foam was normal. Ver batam, I said “By any chance, is this amount of foam normal?” She said yeah, and stared at me blankly. How could I have asked for a redo if she insisted this was normal? I just left to not cause a scene. Please work on quality control and have your employees offer a remake when things are clearly not normal, rather than insist they are. And regarding the coconut tofu/jelly from the original review, it was firm and grainy like cheese, might’ve been a bad batch, but appreciate the response.

UPDATE: Got the crisp grape boom today (6/8/25), less ice less sugar. I ordered in person and waited for the pickup (so the drink was made fresh). The drink came out with 1/3 of it being just foam, asked the cashier if this was normal and she said yes. For reference, I attached a photo of the same drink order from another location… I’ve also ordered this same order during this store’s grand opening and it did not look like this. For an $8 drink after tax, this is pretty ridiculous…

Original Review: Hm I just ordered the coconut mango boom (since they did not have grapefruit at the time), and my drink has these white cubes with a grainy texture. I’ve had this drink before in NYC and I recall it having clear jelly and a smooth texture. I also checked the website and looked up other people’s photos, I didn’t see anyone else with these in their drinks. Maybe it was a mistake?

Their mango grapefruit boom is good though, I would recommend ordering that if...

After 3rd visits, both of which took more than an hour, I have to take off one more star here due to the inefficiency. I would love to give this 5 stars solely based on the fruit-based and tea-based drinks (so long as I don't get the matcha). The over reliance on the one single machine to dispense everything is a horrible mistake, and the store should own up to it and compensate customers accordingly instead of merely offering refunds, as people might have been traveling/commuting to your store already. Okay, so my recent visit was a bit of a mixed bag compared to what I've read, but I'm definitely open to coming back and maybe my next experience will align more with the general buzz. Even though there was a decent line outside on a rainy day, it moved super quickly, so props to them for being efficient, and ordering was a breeze, though I wish the app ordering was working. Now, about the drinks – I've had amazing fruit tea at their New York spots, but this time I tried the Matcha Jasmine Latte and couldn't taste any jasmine at all, even though the store smelled strongly of it. The matcha was okay, but not really special enough to stand out against the milkiness, and the foam on top was really sweet on its own, which made me wonder why it was separate in the first place. It wasn't my favorite drink, especially compared to their Mango Coconut Boom which was fantastic. So, next time I'm thinking I'll probably stick with their tried-and-true favorite unless I hear other drinks have really stepped...
