If you like Nona’s in Higham and, I believe Cohasset, you’ll like this place. Same ice cream, BUT they have swings to sit on, which are so fun and create a whole feel, and they hav banana, caramel, and traditional whipped cream. They also have lazy bars, which are the price of a small ice cream ($6.40 with tax I think) but MASSIVE, and come sandwiched between these cookie/brownie-type layers. Sooo yummy!!!

They also are big on samples, so I got to try the ginger, the white chocolate chocolate chip, and the banana before choosing my mini m&m lazy bar :-). Fully accessible (the exit has one step so if you’re wheeling in you may choose to leave from the same place you entered which has a ramp).

Everyone was so friendly and it’s really close to Wollaston beach and some major parks, so a great stop off nearby!

Also next to a lovely coffee shop called “The Mud House,” but they close at like 1pm or 2pm so you might not get much overlap.

One of my favorite ice cream shops but no froyo!!!! Please get froyo!!!

They do have...

We live in the neighborhood and visited Lazy Bear after having dinner at a neighborhood restaurant. The staff was so nice to me and my daughter. They gave her samples of the ice cream...which she LOVED. She got cotton candy ice cream. It tasted just like cotton candy but without being clowingly too sweet. It was delicious. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but "When in Rome..." I got the black raspberry. Super delicious. My daughter and i both got "single" scoops in a cup. Lazy Bear's scoop is extremely generous. It was actually more like 3 scoops. They also have free sample of their hot chocolate... which was equally delicious. One of the guys told us his grandmother makes homemade fudge that they sell. You can smell the fresh cookies in the background. And, they make their own whipped cream in several flavors. Lazy Bear has our business from now on. Great products, great staff, no pretentious stuff, great variety, great store... they delivered on everything. We're already agreed we'll be...

Awesome local ice cream shop. Line was understandably long on a hot summer day across a popular park, but all of the workers were very friendly. There are three indoor swings for seating and some outdoor seating as well.

Chocolate Lazy Bar ($5.99): I recommend trying the lazy bars. They’re pretty much giant slices of ice cream cake (where the crumble part serves as the “sandwich”). Hefty and satisfying on their own. You grab them from the freezer. The Marsh ($5.99): TONS of rich brownie chunks. Tasted good but overall too heavy for me (if you’re a big chocolate lover, this is the flavor for you). The single scoop was generous. Waffle Cone ($1.75): Definitely tastes homemade, but it was bland. That could have been intentional as to not clash with the ice cream, but I felt like it was missing something. I liked how it was crunchy but still chewy, though.

Overall, I liked the lazy bar more than the ice cream + cone combo, but this place is worth...

Discovered this gem while searching for nearby ice cream spots. Though we've passed by it countless times, its name eluded us until now. The interior may be cozy, but its charming décor and ample outdoor seating make up for it. Portion sizes exceeded our expectations; a single scoop suffices due to their generous servings. With a diverse array of flavors, ranging from familiar classics to intriguing blends like banana oreo, our taste buds were in for a treat. Despite initial doubts, the unconventional combinations proved to be a delightful surprise. I opted for the banana oreo, a fusion like no other, and it was a flavor revelation. Meanwhile, my partner savored the white chocolate chocolate chip, equally satisfying. While the bill tallied up to around $11, the quality of service, portion sizes, and flavor variety made it a worthwhile indulgence.
