I Walked in and ordered medium cheese pizza and baklava. Baklava was stacked on the counter in plastic containers. There were old slices of pizza in a container on display. It was supposed to take 15 minutes to cook my pizza and it took way less. I live 5 minutes away or less. When I got home I dove into my pizza, mind you I just worked out at the YMCA and I was starving. The pizza was not cut completely some slices I had to pry some apart. There was a layer of flour caked on the crust and it tasted like flour. It had a crunch to it and was edible suffice to say. The cheese didn't stay on the pizza and was extremely chewy. It tasted old and reheated and like the cheese was old or seriously processed and not freshly grated. The cheese had seasoning in it and the sauce was not good. As I stated I was hungry so I ate a considerable amount. The baklava was distasteful, it also wasn't cut completely and wasn't worth a second bite. I will not be visiting this restaurant again. I ordered around 7:30 pm. The server was nice and offered to help with the door upon exit because I was pushing a...
Read moreBeen a go-to spot of mine and all my college buddies for almost a decade, absolutely loved the family that ran the place, extremely affordable and never had a single bad pizza in the dozens I purchased over the years. Up until recently (as their kids have gotten older), they were open 364 days a year and were the beacon of hope in plenty of blizzards! When the recent change in management occurred, I noticed the pizza quality significantly decreased: less toppings, different crust that wasn’t fully cooked through and doughy in places, bland taste… it was really disappointing. Tough to see investment in things like new touchscreen checkout stations and not in maintaining the excellence in ingredients and final product. I wanted to believe it was a one off, but a second visit confirmed my fears that this is the new normal.
Pizza Etc… you’ve lost a diehard squad of regulars, and we could not be more...
Read moreWe loved this place, but, as mentioned in other reviews it was sold and it has changed for the worse. They've changed a lot of items on their menu, including their house dressing (which I'm the most upset about) - it's not nearly as good. Their food just tastes different across the board. I see in one of the responses they mention that they've moved to only fresh ingredients. If that's the case, we liked the not fresh ingredients better.
They've also changed their hours and close significantly earlier on most nights. Here's a tip - if you're buying a successful restaurant, don't fix what isn't broken. We'll give the some time to hopefully work the kinks out and maybe go back to the roots of the place pre-purchase before giving them another try. If it's not better by then, we won't be back, which is really unfortunate because we really...
