The new ownership here has been a huge let down. Teresa Market was a long standing staple of Oak Square known for the previous head chef’s dedication to quality food. The new owners made the interior decor look nice but have completely dropped the ball on food quality and care. They need to hire a chef who knows what they’re doing and would never put chips with cheese IN THE MICROWAVE to make ā€œnachosā€. I’m pretty sure this place still has an oven but I guess they haven’t figured out how to use it? The chips now are always really stale and the size a side of guacamole was cut in half to be less than 2oz and I think the price went up? I gave the new owners a few chances but these reoccurring mistakes need to be taken care of for me to ever return. The food is way too expensive to be this careless. I just want the food to be how...

Wow. Just wow. Friendly, fresh and delicious! I don't know how I haven't found this place in a year and a half in Brighton. My girlfriend and I were looking for great Spanish/Mexican dishes and we found it!

My girlfriend had the enchilada dish with two sides and she ate every last bite (and that doesn't happen very often!) I had three different meat tacos and they were amazing.

The guys behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. They let us sample a little of the meat the guy in front of us was ranting and raving about. Amazing service and just a great experience overall. I think we found our new go-to spot in Brighton center! Don't overlook this small hole-in-the-wall, you won't regret...

I’ve been eating at this place for the past 4 yrs and it’s always been a great deal. My favorite items from the menu are the special dinner, shrimp burrito, and the pupusas. However, as of 4/24/24, the prices have been slightly raised and most critically my all time fave shrimp burrito has been made way worse. They took out the agave sauce and the fried peppers, and replaced it with sour cream. The amount of shrimp is also less (they chop it up and add it now). It’s still good, but it’s just a regular burrito now as opposed to a great burrito. Just a nitpick, but I don’t know if they’ve changed management or something recently but it’s something to keep in mind if...

Teresa Market is exactly what I am looking for in a neighborhood take out spot. Pictured here are the brisket tacos (delicious), the pork belly tacos (delicious), the plantains (delicious), and two papusas (delicious). I’ve never had a bad experience from Teresa Market. Great service, probably the best tacos I’ve had in Boston (undoubtedly the best at $7.50), and great value. While I only ever order their prepared food, they also sell their foods as grocery to make yourself. Additionally, they stock a good variety of canned, fresh, and dried foods. Why go anywhere else?

The ladies behind the counter took my dairy allergy seriously and helped me find something to enjoy. I had the carnitas tacos, without cheese, and rice and black beans on the side. They made my food first out of the rest of my party, and took the time to clean the grill before hand. The tacos were delicious - the beans and rice were a little bland and much better when I added them to the tacos. I'd recommend speaking to the staff about possible options if you have food allergies.

Not sure why the name comes up as Teresa Market when the storefront says Teresa Taqueria but either way, it was delicious! Nothing fancy about the outside or inside but the variety of food was great! The staff is very friendly and willing to answer questions, food was served promptly, temperature of the food was perfect and boy was the food tasty. Even the coffee was great! I'd definitely recommend Teresa Taqueria and will definitely visit them again.
