The new ownership here has been a huge let down. Teresa Market was a long standing staple of Oak Square known for the previous head chef’s dedication to quality food. The new owners made the interior decor look nice but have completely dropped the ball on food quality and care. They need to hire a chef who knows what they’re doing and would never put chips with cheese IN THE MICROWAVE to make “nachos”. I’m pretty sure this place still has an oven but I guess they haven’t figured out how to use it? The chips now are always really stale and the size a side of guacamole was cut in half to be less than 2oz and I think the price went up? I gave the new owners a few chances but these reoccurring mistakes need to be taken care of for me to ever return. The food is way too expensive to be this careless. I just want the food to be how...
Read moreWow. Just wow. Friendly, fresh and delicious! I don't know how I haven't found this place in a year and a half in Brighton. My girlfriend and I were looking for great Spanish/Mexican dishes and we found it!
My girlfriend had the enchilada dish with two sides and she ate every last bite (and that doesn't happen very often!) I had three different meat tacos and they were amazing.
The guys behind the counter were friendly and welcoming. They let us sample a little of the meat the guy in front of us was ranting and raving about. Amazing service and just a great experience overall. I think we found our new go-to spot in Brighton center! Don't overlook this small hole-in-the-wall, you won't regret...
Read moreI’ve been eating at this place for the past 4 yrs and it’s always been a great deal. My favorite items from the menu are the special dinner, shrimp burrito, and the pupusas. However, as of 4/24/24, the prices have been slightly raised and most critically my all time fave shrimp burrito has been made way worse. They took out the agave sauce and the fried peppers, and replaced it with sour cream. The amount of shrimp is also less (they chop it up and add it now). It’s still good, but it’s just a regular burrito now as opposed to a great burrito. Just a nitpick, but I don’t know if they’ve changed management or something recently but it’s something to keep in mind if...
