I don't eat McDonald's very often but when I do I now steer clear of this location. Every time I've visited this restaurant in the past it's clear the management and ownership just does not care about their customers and the community it serves. It doesn't come close to what I expect from the other McDonald's in the area(Chelsea, Revere and Everett). The cleanliness of this store is atrocious, and if you visit this store right now I can almost promise you'll see fries all over the floor, a disgusting mess over by the drink station, and don't even bother going into the rest rooms. Aside from the cleanliness or lack there of, the wait times here are some of the worst I've ever encountered. It seems they're not even interested in getting the food to you in a timely manner, wait times are often over 15 minutes and I'm not ordering anything special or out of the norm.
As far as customer service, most employees here do the best that they can, but some don't even acknowledge you, say please or thank you, or even bother to say one word. This has happened multiply times recently. I pull up to the drive through, the cashier takes my money, gives me my food and not one word it said, not even a smile or a thank you back.
Most importantly the quality of the food doesn't compare to other McDonald's, orders come messy, buns taste a day old sometimes, and it's just not what I come to expect from McDonald's. The Ice cream machine is mostly broken or that's what I'm always told when I want to order a shake. If you order online and they're out of a particular item(happens all the time) they'll either substitute it with something else or just not include it at all with out even telling you about it. Sometimes they're out of simple things like cups or sauce.
Lastly when I tried to voice my concerns to the management I couldn't get a hold of anyone. The store phone doesn't get picked up and you can't leave a voice mail. I've tried to speak to someone in person a few times as well, but was told either the manager isn't in or they are too busy in the office.
In closing I'd like to add that I've been coming to this McDonald's my whole life (over 25 years), as a resident of East Boston. I'd like to speak for the entire community to the ownership of this restaurant in saying IF YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO SERVE OUR COMMUNITY CORRECTLY PLEASE SELL THE STORE TO...
Read moreI'm in this McDonalds frequently, and the customer service IS AWFUL!!!! most of the employees are young kids probably still in high school, and none of them seem to have any idea what their job entales, meaning they don't seem to UNDERSTAND or KNOW that besides taking orders and making fries and putting meals together (I speak about the employees at the front of the restaurant & drive-thru, not back in the kitchen) that a HUGE PART of their job is CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! They are always rude, have really bad attitudes, don't know how to greet a customer or say "thank u have a good day" at the end of a transaction, its crazy!!!! They don't even say "good morning/good afternoon what can I get for you" at the beginning of a transaction.... They just literally stand there and wait for you to just start saying your order... And again I'll say this, THEIR ATTITUDES ARE HORRIBLE!!! not only do they act like they're better you, which is kinda funny if you ask me considering the situation, but they also act like they don't wanna be there, and they have SO many other things to be doing that are WAY MORE IMPORTANT, they roll their eyes if u ask a question or ask for anything, and when they make a mistake, their attitude gets WORSE and they act like its YOUR fault!!!!! The 2 managers I've come across, one Spanish lady named Elizabeth, and a white male, maybe in his late 30's or so, have been VERY good to me and my family when we come in here and have been extremely nice and take care of things the way they should be.... I think they need to STOO hiring these little high school entitled BRATS, and start hiring some REAL people who know the meaning of CUSTOMER SERVICE and who ACTUALLY seem to care about their jobs and their performance. Just saying. Other than that this McDonalds has the POTENTIAL to be alot better if their employees learned a thing or 2...
Read moreMe and my fiance ordered out food at the walk-up window, and were waiting around for our Order Number to be called. The cashier handed a random man the order that was supposed to be ours, to which he looked confused about (he had ordered a large order, and the bag was small) so he spent the next couple minutes searching through the bag for all his food. The cashier a few more minutes later comes to the window and says "sorry sir, I gave you their order, here's yours" to which he took his and left, she then gave us the order he was just picking through for the last few minutes and told us "here you go" as if there was nothing wrong with the situation.. I tell her, "excuse me, but I don't want that food, that man just spent the past few minutes touching it trying to figure out if it was his... and we're in the middle of a pandemic..." . She gave me a very rude expression, and took the food back to the counter. I then watched her dump the food out, and re-pack our entire order, then walk over to the french-fry holder to get us newer fries, repacked everything, and handed it back to me.. This kind of "service" is unacceptable, and disgusting.. No one in their right mind would ever have given food that another customer touched to someone else and just expect them to take it. We're incredibly disgusted and insulted over this entire issue, and I don't think we'll ever be returning to this McDonald's which is a shame, since it's usually a very nice and convenient...
