If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food with a welcoming atmosphere, look no further than Wok n Talk in Brighton. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff, especially the owner, Tony, who treats every guest like family. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines exceptional food with such heartfelt service.

I started my meal with the hot and sour soup, which was the perfect balance of tangy, spicy, and savory. It was packed with fresh ingredients, and every spoonful was bursting with flavor. For the main course, I had the Mongolian beef, which was absolutely phenomenal. The beef was tender and cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich and flavorful with just the right amount of spice. The house fried rice rounded out the meal beautifully—it was packed with generous portions of shrimp, chicken, and pork, and had that irresistible wok-seared aroma.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy yet vibrant, making it suitable for anything from a solo meal to a group dinner. The service was quick, and Tony made sure every table felt attended to. You can truly see the passion and care that goes into every dish and interaction.

To top it off, the prices are incredibly reasonable given the quality and portion sizes. Wok n Talk has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Boston. If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food and an even better dining experience.

Highly recommend Wok n Talk—I can’t wait...

It was terrible ...the person who took my order was super nice and spoke perfect English but when I received my food my dumplings and my orange chicken was missing and they gave me an extra container of rice which I never asked for also they gave me a coke instead of a spite...I then called them back and explained to Jason the person who previously took my order. He apologized and said he wasn't sure what to do because the manager wasn't in at the moment and he was out doing deliveries. He told me he would pass on the message and I told him okay but to make sure he calls because if not I will call back tomorrow. I never received a call the day after, so I called and the guy that picked up the phone asked me why did I need to speak to the manager, he also said that the manager does not speak English so if I do not speak English not to call for him and then hung up the phone. I then called the jp store and explained everything once again the girl that I spoke to said that she would notify the manager of what happens and that they will contact me back. It has now been two weeks since this incident and I still have not received not even a phone call back. I am sorry to say but I have eaten there before but there service looks like it went down the road and I do not ever plan on ever going back and do not recommend this place to any one at least not the one in Brighton since I have never experienced anything like this from...

This place is really nice and a perfect example of why you can't judge a person by their appearance. It's definitely a takeaway place, the storefront is very clean and the cutlery is plastic. Their hygiene rating is an A!!! Better than most/all fancy restaurants with fancy ambiance. (I'm talking to you, negative reviewers!!) The kitchen is right behind the counter and is in plain sight and very clean. Don't expect friendly American English customer service here. It's a very small Chinese restaurant with older Chinese people working who just want to give you food and take your money without having to speak English. But the food has always been perfect and I've paid half of what I would normally pay for a dinner for two. This is what happens when a place doesn't spend money on cutlery/storefront. Very good quality and better prices than anywhere else, a...

Most stingy restaurants when it comes to ingredients. The container for green pepper with beef is half size smaller despite of being more expensive than the Szechuan beef on the right. The Szechuan beef is a full size dish thankfully, but it is filled with mostly vegetable. Apart from filling a meat dish with veggie, they even tried to substitute more expensive veggie with cheaper ones. I’ve never seen so much onion in a green pepper with beef dish, it almost becomes stir fried onion with a trace amount of beef and some pepper..lol. Good job Wok n Talk. I will prefer not to come back again unless this is the last restaurant open in the region and I’m starving. And it’s not even that cheap, same price as other late night Chinese restaurants.

I had dinner here yesterday. Their food is top notch. My favorite dish is the Singapore Rice Noodles. I had never had it before and it was recommended to me by the owner. If you like curry, noodles, and Chinese food. Go here! I promise it is not only delicious, but the one plate you order will feed you and two other people. It is the most food I have ever seen in a single plate. It is filled with delicious chicken, shrimp, and pork. You must try it. You will not be disappointed.
