Donât be fooled, thereâs definitely better Colombian food places nearby. Youâre not missing much. The reason Iâm giving this place 1 star is because Iâve been coming here for years. Over 15 years, both service and food has been steady and I continued to give them my business. Recently, while in the neighborhood, I decided to pop in. I was so disappointed with the service. The staff did not greet me. The man who took my order was so rude and condescending. I had him repeat himself because he was mumbling my order back to me. And then he went to the back after taking my order and I caught him and a female colleague giggling in the back. I couldnât help but think it was at my expense. Speaking of âexpenseâ- the food was shockingly overpriced. A soup with salad cost me $18, it used to be $13 max with a drink. I understand inflation is a culprit, but I am not a clueless yuppie. Itâs practically highway robbery. So I paid, left with my order and decided that itâs probably best to never come back- unless Iâm desperate. Which will probably never happen seeing as there are soooo many better cheaper more quality options...
Read moreThis place has been in business for more than 10 years, how? This is something I can't explain. The level of cleanliness leaves a lot to the imagination, dirty floor, dirty dishes piled on the counter, and tables that need a good scrubbing. After 10 years, I walked in to buy some buñuelos. Well, one bite was enough for me to know these buñuelos were hard as a football, the dough was grainy, and the price was expensive. I hate to throw food away, but eating them would be more disastrous to my body. I know how buñuelos should taste like, and this restaurant will not see my money ever again. With so many Colombian people in the area, including myself, it is a shame that the quality of our cuisine in this place is being slashed to pieces-and not...
Read moreI ordered the Central American breakfast and it was not fresh! It was canned refried beans and bagged tortillas. The avocado is not hass itâs the large water ones. The crĂšme was sour cream and not anywhere Central American. The pan de queso was salty and stinky cheese taste. The Plato topico was not tasty at all. The meat had no flavor and tasted bloody. Coffee was straight up milk. Over all this was extremely expensive for two breads, 1 coffee, one breakfast, one tipico plate, and one soda. They charged us $50!!!! Iâve had Colombian food and this is not authentic or the best in east...
