Great spot with amazing food and even better service! They also offer free guest wifi, so I got to stay a little longer and dine while I waited for my food and got some work done on my laptop.

Ordered the Fancy and was a bit surprised at how small it looked given the price, but it was delicious and way more filling than I expected. The eggs they use are the BEST quality I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant, and the hash brown was light and crispy and not greasy at all. Some of the best quick breakfast I’ve had in Jamaica Plain.

But even better than the food, the service was INCREDIBLE. The front of house was such a sweetheart and he greeted every customer with the biggest smile I’ve seen. He surprisingly knew many customers by name (including their orders and what they’ve tried before!), but gave the same love and attention to those he didn’t. The food is delicious. If you do not want a runny egg, you need to ask though, because otherwise it will be over easy! (I prefer over medium).

The staff are friendly, the cafe is adorable. There are MEM teas, coffee, and pastries, as well as locally sourced Milk from Shaw Farm in Dracut, Natalie’s OJ (which is from Florida and super tasty), as well as other cooler drinks.

The tables are super heavy and closely placed, so not super accessible if you plan to eat in with a wheelchair. I hit my hip on the edge of the table trying to get in (and the thing is metal so it hurt). But that’s the nature of tiny tiny spaces.

The plants are beautiful!!!

Do watch your step. The door will remind you and you will be unhappy if you forget.

I heard about Mike and Patty's from a friend a while ago and had to check it out. It's a perfect hidden gem in Bay Village with a simple menu full of delicious breakfast sandwiches. Their new sandwich, the Thicc, is absolutely killer (scrambled eggs, milk bread, cheese, scallions, chipotle aioli - so so good) I got it two days in a row.

Sandwiches come out pretty quick so it's a great place to stop before work or school, and everyone's always really nice. The place is on a really little corner so there's not really seating inside, but when it's nice out it's nice to grab the sandwiches to go and sit on one of the little stoops in the area.
