This is my third time visiting this place since I heard about a new Vietnamese restaurant that recently opened in Dorchester. As a Vietnamese myself, I wanted to come here and support our local community.
The first time I came, I ordered Phở Tái (Beef Raw Noodle Soup). The broth was a bit plain, but still okay. I shared my feedback with the manager, and to my surprise, when I visited again, the Phở Tái was absolutely amazing. That’s when I knew they truly listen to customer feedback and strive to improve their food every day.
I recently visited again last Saturday and ordered the same dish, and this time, it was delicious. The aroma was rich, and the broth had an incredible depth of flavor. Overall, I’d rate the food 10/10. The staff is super friendly, and I can see they are doing their best to provide a great dining experience that customers truly deserve.
What makes this place even more special is the story behind the name “Phở Quê”. Every time I visit, I have a great conversation with the owner, learning about their passion and vision.
I highly recommend everyone to come visit and give this place a chance! You won’t be...

After the first meal was served, they didn’t realize the mistake until 25 minutes later, when a new server came to ask if the other two guests wanted to order—despite us already having placed the full order earlier. The new server couldn’t take the order correctly either, needing to ask another server for help with a simple request to substitute rice for vermicelli noodles. We then waited another 30 minutes for the rice plates to arrive.
There was no proper apology or reconciliation acknowledged after. While I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, perhaps due to being a new restaurant and/or staffed by younger workers, the service was simply unacceptable.
Food was average so I am willing to give this place a second chance...

The place has been renovated quite a bit and given it a fresh new look. We both ordered pho, and thought the small portion sizes were just enough! Meat quality was great and most importantly, we were impressed with the broth, as we prefer the more savory (not sweet) version with more beef and herbal depth to it. Absolutely delicious and would love to come back for more. We are eyeing the oxtail pho for...
