I been a customer to Rizzo's Pizza since 2002 and i will admit the service has been great over the years but as of late I haven't been too pleased. Obviously, the staff has changed a bit over the years but certain quality of foods has drastically change over the past 2 years. The biggest eye opener to me has been how the staff doesn't properly use the right equipment to make food. Ex. i have witnessed the staff juggle multiple customers orders and not use gloves while cooking the food. The staff tends to use no gloves while serving or prepping the food. With me seeing this at hand it has limited me over the past 2 years on ordering other things off the menu. I understand it could become busy at times, but infection control should be a priority. The staff also has a staring issue, it makes the entire experience not as pleasant eating or shopping at the restaurant like it once was. I would still consider eating from there, but I will have to watch the entire staff as they make my food. I don't understand what has gone wrong...
Read moreMy husband grew up in the neighborhood but we live in NC now. We visit every year and stop at Rizzo’s at least once per visit because pizza just isn’t the same in the south. During our visit earlier this week, our 4 & 5 year olds were being cranky little 💩’s. The guy working, who is there every time we visit, saw that our kids were cranky and showed compassion towards us and offered for us to take the kids behind the counter to watch how they make pizza. Read moreI've been getting steak and cheese from here since high school (1989) and the most AMAZING thing about this place are 2 things. 1st and MOST IMPORTANT is the owners are the same. The only difference is my guy just like all of us is a little older but still Great and treats each customer like a VIP!!!! 2ND is the Steak and Cheese or Cheese Steak.
