Went here the other night with 6 friends. We were excited to try the newly revamped space. We were nervous about getting a table, but then the place was empty, with a couple of people at the bar and 1 other table. What we got: - Gnocco fritto - Bruschetta - Arancini - Orecchiette - Bolognese - Sausage and lentils - Chicken parm - Skillet chicken - Radicchio salad We had high hopes, but besides the apps, everything was disappointing. How can you call yourself an Italian restaurant but not cook pasta correctly? The pasta for the Orecchiette, Chicken Parm, and Bolognese were all VERY overcooked. The pasta for the Bolognese was basically mush. We actually sent that dish back and came back just as overcooked. They need to figure out how to cook pasta. Service was also bad. Our apps and mains came out at different times. Water glasses went unfilled, and I had to go find salt and pepper on my own. Also, there were two employees, maybe a manager and kitchen staff, who were sitting at a table next to us doing event planning while talking on the phone on speakerphone. It really ruined the vibe. Slim chance we will go back. Very disappointing.

Waited for at least 15 minutes without being acknowledged at our table. Had to call out to someone walking by to ask who our server was. We were told they would go look. 10 minutes later she came, without introduction and took our order. 15 mins later our drinks came and were underwhelming, however to change them would’ve been a task so we settled. 10 minutes later our food came. I asked specifically for over medium eggs. As you can see in the picture, it’s pretty much egg soup. During our meal, we saw her only one other time to which we requested our check. DO NOT go here if they’re busy, because they aren’t able to provide adequate service. Food, other than egg soup, was good. Try the chicken and biscuits.

New in town. Went here alone for dinner and a drink at the bar. And wow! What a friendly bartender. He knew everyone by name and was fun and kind--even to me. Food was great. Good house-made veggie burger. Jalapeno aioli was super. Fries were decent, thick-ish and crisp but not too crisp. A little more seasoning or salt on them would have made them terrific, but they were still good as is. Oooh, and the seasonal sangria right now is the bomb: strawberry limoncello sangria. So. Freaking. Good. Will definitely be going back!

I have been visiting this restaurant for about 10-15 years. I have noticed a decline throughout but today was about service. I came for brunch today because I was craving their crab cake Benedict. When I got there it was about 11:30am and the music was bumping. There were a total of 5 tables seated in the restaurant. I’ve never done this before but asked if they could turn it down a little which they thankfully did. Server took about 10 minutes to greet us. He brought waters and took our drink order. I only asked if I could have a water with nothing floating in it :/. In about another 5-10 he brought the soda we ordered. We were ready to order but that took another 10 minutes as I looked over and another employee was playing with our servers bum. I get that they are having fun butt.. We ordered our meal and I asked if I could have some sort of greens instead of potatoes and English muffin. He offered fruit, I asked if there was a veggie option, any sort of greens and he said “not really, you can have pork” Um 🧐. So here is the thing.. if my crab cakes come on a bed of spinach why can’t I have extra spinach? A handful of lettuce?? Seems reasonable right?? We were served our meal and the server, no where in sight. Half way through we were hoping for a soda refill. So, bartender and server were both gone for about 10 minutes. I got up and asked the host for a soda because there was no one else in sight. Gold star for the host today, he was helpful. So I’m done eating and my boyfriend was just about done. The server came over and asked how we were doing. My boyfriend asked for a soda and the check. The server touched on 2-3 tables and took their order, no soda, at this point we are done and just want to leave. Its now 10 minutes after we asked for the soda so I glanced at the server as a reminder and he brought the soda and the check. Reminder, there were only 5 tables seated in the restaurant with a number of staff. Definitely a disappointing visit, not...

My husband and I stopped in on Christmas Eve afternoon before heading to CT to celebrate Christmas with family. It wasn’t busy at all. We decided to sit at the bar. The bartender approached us, he didn’t say a word and just looked at us. No “Hi happy holidays” or “Merry Christmas”. No welcome at all. Okay then we said to each other. We placed a drink order while looking over the menu. Drinks come and the bartender walks away. Then we place our food order. We laughed but every time we come here, the staff are so unfriendly! Gave the bartender a great tip in the spirit of Christmas but would have given 10% based on the service we received. We live local in Dorchester and like to support local businesses. But I just can’t support this place anymore. They need to hire staff that are going to be more welcoming and inviting or train them better. The food is ok, but the service is always less than desirable and that distracts from even the best of meals.

Note to managers: Tell your staff to be more inviting and friendly to the customers. TIPS: to insure proper...
