Saxbys at Boston University — Restaurant in Boston

After opening the new building on BU campus, the lines were long, yes. But besides that, this place has the best black coffee. The first time I asked for black coffee, for some reason they made me a latte. But these are students working here and I don’t think they want to be baristas for the rest of their lives. Everyone makes mistakes. I’m not going to expect an exquisite meal from students who are directionless and are barely adults. I expect decent service and not a long wait. And that’s what I get...

Disorganized. Tons of staff but they all looked confused about what they were responsible for. I waited 30 minutes for an espresso before leaving without it.

Organization of staff by a cafe manager and better communication about wait times would go a long way to reduce staff stress and improve the experience...

Instead of making coffee and serving them when they are already ready, especially when many ppl were waiting, most employees were just chitchatting and playing with polaroid? Leaving just 2 employees working. Horrible management and therefore low efficiency. Waited forever to get a cup...
