The First Church of Christ, Scientist, located in Boston, is a remarkable place that combines stunning architecture with a peaceful atmosphere. As you approach the building, the intricate details of its facade and the grand entrance immediately capture your attention. The church’s interior is equally impressive, featuring beautiful stained glass windows and a serene ambiance that invites contemplation. During my visit, I was struck by the sense of tranquility that permeated the space. It’s a perfect spot for reflection or quiet prayer. The church also offers a rich history, with informative displays that provide insight into the Christian Science movement and its founder, Mary Baker Eddy. One of the highlights of the visit is the Reading Room, where you can explore various resources about Christian Science and its teachings. The staff is welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready to answer questions or provide guidance. Overall, my experience at The First Church of Christ, Scientist was enlightening and peaceful. Whether you are interested in spirituality, architecture, or simply looking for a quiet place to reflect, this church is a must-visit. I highly recommend taking the time to explore this beautiful location—it truly offers a unique perspective on faith and community.

The Christian science museum is undoubtedly one of those historical marvels that have to be preserved at all cost. It is wheelchair accessible making it accessible to each and every entity on this planet to come and witness how the world which we know today has shaped. I was amongst the fortune ones who had the chance to visit How do you see the world Mapperrium alongside the Church alongside extension as well. The tour facilitators, reception staff and every person working there is unquestionably the sweetest. I had no problem at all in asking and clarifying my doubts. A must visit place if you like history and the monuments that have survived for nearly a century.

Visited this Church during free tour on Sunday. You can't just enter there from outside, the tour guides have to take you inside the church by the elevator. Inside of the church is huge and majestic, it was built for a capacity of 5000 people, and the dome itself is not supported by columns, a kind of know how in architecture. The organ is massive, you can listen to it during their masses or online. The church is connected to an old smaller building, it has also organ but it is smaller. They do have their own religion and their own holy book, and as they don't have priests, the book is read during their gatherings by different people from the entire world.

Please be aware of christian science and how it affects the mind sets of those that follow it. This church has strayed from the original teachings of Jesus and scripture.

My family has followed it for several generations until we woke up and realized it was far from God, far from the teachings of the bible, far from Jesus. Please be aware of this.

My family gave up this church's teachings a long time ago after how we saw it mentally warp, change and destroy the family members we knew. Mentally they were for ever changed. My family no longer follows this church's teachings due to how brainwashed my grandmother became. Remember just because you attend church 2-4 times a week does not mean you are saved.

Jesus stirred in my heart many years ago through self seeking with out the interference of this church's teachings. Just be aware that just because you go to church does not mean you'll be saved. Many preach in his name but do not know him. Many churches do not have the true presence of God in them and I have been to many that do not have it.

My grandmother was so brainwashed by this religion she was not even her. She was so mentally ensnared in this churches teachings it felt more like a cult than religion. We had to deal with this her entire life. It was sad to see a woman full of hope and independent dreams become so brain washed by "religion".

Be careful of churches with idols, and those that teach a muddled version of scripture for entertainment. These are false churches. If a church is all about entertainment it is far from God. If a church is all about money collection it is far from God.

This church does not teach to seek Jesus with their heart, does not teach to repent, does not teach sin and thinks sin is just automatically forgiven. No, that is far from the truth. It's all a lie. Sin is real and repentance is a must! If you do not repent at least once and give your life to Jesus not with words but with heart, you do not seek him.

Many here preach in Jesus's name but are not with him. This religion has done much hardship on my family from early deaths, to physical hardships from the world we did not have to endure. That could of been fixed with simple medical procedures. Many died early for white coat lab syndrome and refusal to take care of their physical health. My grandmother was so brainwashed into this religion it felt more like a cult than a religion. When I was young and wanted to read the bible I'd grab one from the adult area then take it to the kid area and it was just immediately ripped from my hands and given a mushed up version of the scripture.

I did visit here once and did not feel the true presence of God here. This church has become more about entertainment than seeking Jesus. This church doesn't let its followers read the real bible. I had it ripped from my hands many times when trying to even read it. They instead gave me a mushed up version of their teachings that was no where near scripture and what they wanted it to be. I didn't feel this right. After a while I began to seek him on my own and abandoned the religion churches that people are too comfortable with. if ideally it doesn't suit them mentally they go else where. That's not even close to seeking Jesus. That's a thing of the world.

Time is growing short in his return, please seek the real Jesus not this fictional church version we have all become comfortable with.

Those true with Jesus will be mocked, ridiculed, hated and ignored. You can call my post blasphemy all you want but it's the truth. You give mockery and ridicule to destroy real Jesus experiences and become quickly offended if it doesn't fall into traditional teachings you have muddled your affairs with. If you really want to know Jesus, pray, fast and seek him with your heat. You do not need a pastor to...

It's an odd plaza for a church. Open, inviting and relaxing. Lots of people enjoying the grounds, kid's and adults with toy boats in the reflection pond and lots of people hanging around the fountain. There were even sunbathers, couples relaxing and lots of places to sit and be sociable. We took the tours. The Maparium changed my perspective of the planet Earth. The church history is a glimpse into an interesting period of history, a person and a movement/religion. I met nice inviting informative people, but nobody tried to convert me or witness to me. What I learned and experienced is consistent with what I have experienced with the ChristIan Scientists I know: open minded and inclusive. If you have been experiencing shopping overload at the nearby mall, you will enjoy some peaceful time at the plaza. Doing the Church thing is optional, but please visit...
