The Two Saints Tavern really impressed me a lot!! It's the quintessential college/Northeastern University bar (but it’s also more than just a college bar). Forget the Cadillac burger at Manhattan's P.J. Clarke's! (I live in Manhattan). I think the Two Saints steak burger in Boston is better and it's a real steal at only $10. Also, Robby, the bar manager, and Chuck, the general manager, aim to please their patrons. From the attentive and cordial way me and my pals were treated, I'd say Customer Service is #1 on their list. Lastly, the bar has an excellent craft beer list in both drafts and cans. You cannot go wrong with the Two Saints Tavern!! The pics are taken from the tavern’s beautiful neighborhood.

Tried to go there 4-5 times for lunch recently and it has been closed even though it was past noon. Finally they were open but we were the only 2 customers. There was however another guy there that was either a former employee or a disgruntled customer from the night before. He and the bartender kept getting into arguments and the bartender told him to leave but he wouldn't insisting he wanted to wait for the manager who wasn't going to arrive for 2-3 more hours. The bartender ended up calling the police so that he would leave. It was very awkward and we left before the cops showed up. The food was ok but clearly the atmosphere not so much

I just popped in for a beer while waiting to meet friends for dinner before the Boston Pops. I did not eat, just ordered a beer. The draft IPA had run out and the bartender immediately offered to go downstairs and set something up. (It was pretty quiet in there.) I said no problem and took a Bud bottle, which was cold and efficient given my impending meeting. I would recommend stopping in if you’re in the area. Here’s a few shots with the latest menu.

Writing this review after an interaction last night. My friend and I showed up anticipating a great time and wanting to meet friends who were already inside. Bouncer looked at my ID AND SCANNED IT, handed it back to me with no explanation and told me to step aside. Mind you… I am 23 and the people around us were well underage. I asked why I was denied and he said my ID “did not look like me” and proceeded to let in underage students with fakes. My ID photo was taken on my 21st.. Apologies if I look different. He asked me if I had a credit card which I did not bring with me and only had my debit and that was not good enough for him. Returned a few minutes later and asked if I was denied because of my ID or if it was because the event was sold out. He continued to give me different answers switching between the two… But he proceeded to let people in after us who didn’t have tickets even though it was “sold out”…. Then I asked if I could just run in quickly to use the restroom and he said no. Explicitly came to this establishment anticipating a good time and instead was denied for no good reason and was stranded in the area without our friends. Expected more during one of the busiest times...

Apologies if I look different. He asked me if I had a credit card, showed it to him and two other cards and proceeded to step me aside. That has happened after I already bought the ticket and they scanned it. Kept on lying to my face saying that my id didn’t scan correctly. After arguing with them for 5 minutes straight and showing them my work id and five of my cards, they scanned my id again and surprisingly it passes when Im on the side where I can see what it actually says. Explicitly came to this establishment anticipating a good time and instead was denied for no good reason. Expected more during one of the busiest times...

I've been here a few times and this is by far the most unwelcoming bar I've been to in Boston.

The staff is rude and unfriendly, especially the female barkeep who has an outright hostile attitude and is a rare example of an unapologetic racist here in Mass. Not only is she inattentive to customers and unaware of most of their inventory, she often gets into arguments with customers and has them thrown out when they ask to see the manager. I've seen it happen multiple times in my few visits there.

Outside of the people, the drinks and food menu is pretty limited and rather expensive for the mediocre quality and ambience the place offers. The crowd is mostly all undergrads who often get unruly and start smoking and vaping indoors without consequence.

All in all, Definitely would not recommend. Don't waste your time and money here, there are many better options in...
