Tasty BBQ — Restaurant in Boston

I'm from the south, so of course the BBQ would not be to my standards. However, it's not bad. The rice and chicken tenders are very flavorful. The biscuits with the sweet cinnamon butter was different, but in a good way. I may come back just for those 3 items...they are worth the it. This is not very expensive like some places. I cannot forget to mention....customer service from Jorell's at the register is fantastic. I did encounter an issue with the cook of the fried bone in chicken, but he was very apologetic and offered to re-cook it or made a suggestion for me to get the chicken tenders. I can't say that the others have the same level of customer service, because you could see the attitude all over their faces and hear it in their voices when I showed them that the fried chicken was undercooked. All in all a good place with the Potential to be considered one of Boston's...

Horrible! We ordered GrubHub to our corporate office and had missing items. A whole double stack chicken tender with 2 sides was not sent to us, but was charged. We called the location and were greeted with an attitude by the rep who answered. This person said they were the manager and said they could not deliver our missing order because it was through GrubHub. Instead of having the money refunded, we asked if the order could be ready for pick up tomorrow and we would just pick up the missing meal then. The "manager" said no that would not be possible as if that is OUR problem, the customer. We are very angry and we WILL NOT be using this Tasty BBQ location as a reference to anyone or for our banquets/meetings to order...

Recently got a takeout of the meat combo special with pulled pork, bbq brisket, and pulled chicken for lunch. Everything on the plate was a tad bland, and without the dipping sauces on the side, it would’ve been difficult. The meats were still tender, but except for the brisket, they lacked umami flavor. The bottom of the plate was also filled with greasy water, and overall, it wasn’t the best bbq experience I had.

Since there aren’t a lot of bbq places in the downtown area, this might be good for a quick bbq fix, but if you have the time, I would recommend going to other local bbq chain stores in Seaport...
