The bouncers and manager here are very rude and disgraceful. Me and my partner tried to get in and they said she looked too drunk when she clearly was not. I asked them why they said that and they said she was looking “tired” which is super dumb. What if someone is sober and is just tired because it’s late at night? Somehow they thought my 5’5” partner who was clearly sober was a liability to them. Then they changed their story and the manager said she “was stumbling” at the entrance when she was just walking like a normal person. The staff here go on weird power trips that are unnecessary, and, if you are the owner reading this and confront your staff, they will probably lie to you and have no trouble doing that to cover themselves. Get new door staff and a manager who has a better idea of what is happening and who to let in! Never spending my money here until the staff are new. People who work in this industry should at least understand when someone is actually a threat not some 5’5” woman who clearly was not drunk. I used to work at a restaurant and we were trained on this and these guys clearly have no regard or training for this type of stuff. Spend your money elsewhere, there are plenty of other bars that will treat you like a decent human being and know how to run a business without being...

I am truly disappointed to be writing this because I have been coming here for a while wether it is the lunch side or breakfast. One of the servers here a short girl with black hair is one of the rudest servers I have ever met. She treated me like complete garbage and then tried to REFUSE to take the food off my bill. I will be contacting whoever owns this place also. As someone in the industry this is really disappointing, I made a complaint about food quality of my eggs and politely asked for it to be removed. The manager who I have seen before and actually loved - was also rude and dismissive about it. I shouldn’t have to apologize for having a complaint, when I made my complaint to the manager I had to say “hello” and ask if she was listening she was ignoring me directly to my face. I really am so bummed this is how it is there. Some of the truly rudest service employees I have ever met. I was totally taken a back completely - I have never experienced rudeness like...

I visited Beantown with a group of colleagues as it was right next to our hotel. I rolled my ankle on the cobble stone on the way in and the bartender kindly supplied ice. Unfortunately the positive atmosphere and service ended with that. An extremely belligerent man was sitting alone at the bar and began verbally harassing me. When I repeatedly and loudly told him to leave me alone, we were approached by security and told I wouldn’t be served. I said that’s fine I don’t wanna drink. I literally just rolled my ankle on the cobblestone coming in and couldn’t make the rest of the walk back to the hotel alone. The security guard would not listen, nor even look me in the eye to hear me out. Yes, I had a couple drinks the last location, but I was far from the belligerent state of the man that was harassing me who was not asked to leave or told he wouldn’t be served anymore. Only come to this bar if you are ok with being harassed by drunken creeps and kicked out for...

This place is a 10/10. We were in Boston for 5 days over St Patrick's day and we first stopped at Beantown after our flight. Immediately, we were greeted with amazing food and a great staff. Over the next few days, we found ourselves returning to Beantown for the incredible food, welcoming staff, and the rugby games. We tried everything from the lobster roll, burgers, wraps, hotdogs, and wings. Everything was so good. Everything you'd want on your first trip to Boston. Beantown can easily be a one stop shop for the best wings, lobster roll, and wraps in town. I highly recommend this pub. It truly made our trip special and allowed us to introduce our Irish friend to the best first experience in America. Special thanks to Sharon who was so generous and hospitable to us. We felt like regulars after only a day. Our wait staff and bartenders were incredible as well. Matt, Michael, Bailey, and Kathryn made this place extra special during our stay.

Ryan Meetup was here and an overall EPIC experience. The bar was perfect, cold beers in everyone’s hands. Buffalo wings were A+. All the Ryan’s just being Ryan’s , having the best time a Ryan could have. No better place to be with my fellow Ryan’s. Would Ryan here again.

Boston’s rich history can be a lot to take in, especially on a hot day with kids in tow. After wandering around and soaking up the history, my wife and I decided it was time for a break. We found the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cold drink, just 100 feet from the grave of the real Samuel Adams. We sat down and ordered a Samuel Adams beer, which felt like a fitting tribute to the man himself. Alongside our drinks, we indulged in a delicious and affordable crab sandwich that really hit the spot. The service was fantastic—quick, friendly, and just what we needed after a long day. This little break was a highlight of our day. It was great to have a moment to ourselves, savoring a local brew and a tasty meal in such a historically significant spot. If you ever find yourself in Boston, make sure to take a break like this—it’s the perfect way to blend history with a bit of relaxation and good food.
