Zesto's Pizza and Grille — Restaurant in Boston

This was the first and last time I order at Zesto's due to the horrible service. I ordered a cheeseburger from here through Foodler. The toppings available for the burger were not specified, it just asked if I want anything put on the burger so I wrote onion and lettuce. I also got a 15% discount which was not honored by the restaurant when the delivery came so I paid full price and let it go. When i opened the container, the burger had mayo and tomato on it which I did not order since I am allergic to tomatoes. I called Zesto's about it and was very polite, explaining my allergy and before I could finish my sentence, the man who answered the phone tonight cut me off and got defensive saying every burger comes with all topping's and I got what I ordered. I continued, the site I ordered on did not specify that, just to write if I wanted anything on it. He continued being defensive and belligerent. I calmly asked if I could have another burger since I can't eat this one. He said you'll have to send the first one back, to which I said yes that's fine. He said so you just want a regular burger? I said yes, the burger, onion, lettuce and fries that came with the meal. He responded, "why would I give you fries? You already have them." I asked to speak with his manager and he claimed he is the manager. I hang up and a few minutes later said that since I can't eat the burger with tomato on it, I should get a refund. He said no, claimed that first I complained about the burger, then tomato and was playing games and then he came up with a lie that I didn't pay his driver enough, that I'm complaining about nothing and if I want another burger I have to go down to the restaurant and get it. I said no, I paid him the full price (I still never mentioned the 15% discount I didn't get), the site didn't specify what comes with the burger, I can't eat it, and I need my money back. He laughed and said no. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had and the worst part was the mean, overbearing attitude of the manager and I would never again do business with a company that is so careless and condescending...

I recommend ideally calling, or ordering through the website linked here on Google Maps. The business gets a bigger cut this way, compared to delivery apps, which cost the business money with every order placed.

I've gotten take-out from every pizza place nearby. Zesto's is some of the best pizza within walking distance for this neighborhood. Notably, orders from Zesto's have always been accurate for me. They don't skimp on toppings, you can tell the seasoning blend is specifically for pizza, and the cheeses aren't simply some cheap bagged mozzarella - there's gotta be parmigiano-reggiano, asiago, pecorino-romano, provolone, or something else in there. The cheese has good flavor, is what I'm trying to say. You will taste what I mean.

Service is reliable - the food is very consistent, and orders have always ready within the estimate window. The shop is clean and efficient and the staff always polite. I'll keep visiting Zesto's. I've become fond of this place throughout...

This is the only cheese pizza our daughter will eat. The turkey sub is delicious. They use high quality ingredients and excellent bread. It is GREEK-style pizza, however. If you are looking for traditional, New York thin crust pizza, this may not be your cup of tea.
