Fox's Barbeque recently catered an event I hosted, and they exceeded all expectations in every way! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, and I couldn't have asked for a better catering service. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious spread. The brisket was perfectly smoked and tender, smoky flavor. The chicken was succulent and juicy. Each bite was a testament to the expertise and passion Fox's Barbecue brings to their craft. The sides were just as impressive. The mac and cheese was a crowd favorite, creamy and loaded with cheesy goodness. The baked beans had a depth of flavor that complemented the meats wonderfully, and the coleslaw was fresh and crisp, providing a perfect contrast to the rich barbecue. And let’s not forget the cornbread – it was moist, slightly sweet, and absolutely addictive. Beyond the amazing food, the service provided by Fox's Barbecue was top-notch. The team was incredibly professional, punctual, and attentive to every detail. They handled everything with ease, from setup to cleanup, allowing me to focus on enjoying the event with my guests. Their staff was friendly, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to ensure everyone was satisfied. The presentation of the food was also impressive, adding a touch of elegance to our gathering. It was clear that Fox's Barbecue not only cares about the taste of their food but also about the overall experience they provide. Thanks to Fox's Barbecue, my event was a huge success. I received countless compliments from guests who were thoroughly impressed with the catering. I highly recommend Fox's Barbecue for any event – they deliver exceptional food and outstanding service that will make your occasion unforgettable. Five stars all the way – I can't wait to have them cater...
Read moreI used to agree with everyone who said that this is the best barbecue in the Las Vegas area. It really was. I would drive out from Vegas just to visit family and eat here. At the original location and the new one. This was maybe my 4th or 5th time and based on those earlier times I’d leave a 5 star review but this time the food was awful… with family visiting from out of town staying in Boulder City, we of course wanted to bring them here for the best bbq in the area and it turned out to now be maybe the worst?
$120+ for 6 of us and everything, I mean literally every meat was dry and overcooked. We could’ve sworn they gave us leftovers from days before because that is not barbecue, in any region or state this would be considered unservable. Anyone from the south would walk out, I was embarrassed we even brought family here. So disappointing and pains me to even write this but I’ve told so many people to come here I feel like someone has to say something.
Sides were good. Cornbread was good. But we didn’t come for that. Brisket was GRAY, no fat left, barely a smoke ring (I wouldn’t be surprised if it was electric smoker or baked cause it was sooo dry), zero moisture. Pulled pork was same dryness. Even the burnt ends were dry… I didn’t even know that was possible. Someone must’ve left this stuff in the smoker or somewhere where it was able to overcook beyond saving then served it anyway. Ribs were OK but still not enough to make up for the other 2lbs of dry meat.
I am even feeling bad for writing all this but all 6 of us agreed it was the worst meal we’ve had in awhile especially for barbecue. So one bad review is better than 6 I guess. We politely paid and left but I can’t risk $120+ here again unfortunately and I wouldn’t recommend others risk it either even though I used to recommend this place...
Read moreFirst of all, we called ahead and the lady named Leah on the phone was very rude and short. Mentioning that they close soon and don't do reservations. After we showed up, nobody greeted us for a few minutes.
Finally we sat down, lady was very abrupt. She sat us down asked us for our drink order and left. Drinks came in decent time but they got the order wrong. We had to ask twice for them to correct it and waited atleast 10 minutes for my youngest daughters drink to come correct. Meanwhile our waitress was visibly chatting away with coworkers in the back while we waited. Finally our drinks came correct. Ordering food and the time it took was decent. Had food on table in 10 minutes. Wife ordered Mac n cheese and sausage on the side. Sausage was dry and seemed to be store bought, no fresh flavor there. Mac n cheese was great. Oldest daughter got tacos and they were very plain and dry. I got a burger and it was decent, juicy, delicious, but oddly enough the pickle on the side was kinda mushy and not crispy. Youngest got Mac n cheese and corn bread. Corn bread was very dry, almost seemed old. As if it was the last of it for the day. And of course she demolished the Mac n cheese.
We didn't get our drinks refilled almost all the way through the meal, I had to ask for a refill and she ended up giving everyone a new drink and went back to gossiping with her coworkers. We only needed refills on 2 out of 4 of our drinks.
She seemed to rush us out at the end and didn't care to make it seem like we were welcome. Anyways. That's our experience tonight. I've been here many times before and it's never been this bad. Maybe it's because they were an hour from closing. But I don't think that's a good...
