Forge Social House — Attraction in Boulder City

We had our wedding ceremony & reception at Forge in December 2022. I booked almost a year ahead of time and Amy Vandermark was available every single time I reached out to her. This venue is a cute little spot tucked in Boulder City, NV. You’ll forget you’re in the middle of a small town neighborhood! We wanted a venue close to home but not on the strip. There was plenty of parking for guests as well as our food trucks and it was easily accessible for our handicapped guests. We had about 70 guests in total and there was plenty of room for dinner and dancing. We had a lot of vendors and Amy was so accommodating and helpful with all of them as they arrived on our wedding day. We used one of Forge’s bartenders and he had the heart of all of our guests! They loved him! They do have outdoor heaters available if you’re planning a winter event. We also had a fire pit on the balcony! We personally did not have a lot of decor as the venue is already beautiful with a rustic/desert/industrial vibe - the chandelier in the courtyard was a special touch and looked great in our photos. Myyyyyy God this place was sooooo freaking Good. The Food was the bomb. They put on a spread for our group that you would not believe. All the way down to the desert. I wish this place was in Los Angeles I know I would visit this place like 2 times a week. This was a private party buffet style all you can eat salmon, beef, pasta, veggies, bread and salad just fantastic. The bar was sexy and classy a cool little hang out spot. You walked in threw these cool big double doors kind of dark like a jazz room with white linen table cloths. And I looked outside the sliding glass door on the patio they had like a man made deck it reminded me of like a cool little funky hang out. Something you would use on a hot summer night looking up at the stars and the lights. My group had went to visit the Hoover Dam and the bus drove us to this place for lunch the best experience ever. Very tiny! Parking was for the police in front and a credit union in the lot next to the Forge. I parked half a block away at a park. I found out after we got there, trash service was not included in our event fees. But not removing trash put us in jeopardy of losing our $1000 cleaning deposit. They offered to sell me 3 trash bags for $5. What an insult. My daughter's father-in-law had to go home and bring back trash cans and bags from his garage. The tablecloths had dried food stains and pet hair on them. They complained about their laundry service. But obviously they hadn't changed the linen between at least one prior event. Especially disgusting in a pandemic! They only had one clean tablecloth on site, so my sister and niece scraped food and white pet hair off of the other black tablecloths. This was embarrassing as guests were arriving. Luckily a taco caterer from Vegas saved the day! I recommend looking for...
