China A Go Go — Restaurant in Boulder City

I'll write this review while I'm still hot and my food is cold! I just wasted the last hour of my life with these idiots. I went in person and made a really simple order, a family dinner #B, really easy, no special requests or anything. I stupidly trusted them to get my order right and didn't check it before leaving. I opened the bag at home and found that all of the appetizers were missing. I called back immediately and the order taker (the same person who originally helped me, I recognized her voice) said she would have the kitchen make them immediately and asked if I could come back to pick them up. I said I would be there in 5 minutes. I drove back and waited 10 more minutes to be helped. By then she had completely forgotten about me and didn't have the missing items ready. Another 10 minutes passes with me explaining the situation over again, her talking with the cooks, and pulling past receipts. She finally agreed to make the missing items and said they would make extra. By now my food has been sitting on my kitchen counter getting cold and I'm getting the feeling the restaurant staff is thinking I'm trying to get away with something. I wound up leaving without ever receiving the missing food items. I'll give 2 stars since my wife thought the food was ok, but I'm still so annoyed that I haven't eaten yet. I live about a mile away but stopped going there about 3 years ago. I don't remember what went wrong back then but it kept me away until now. Today (a Monday) my wife felt like having Chinese food and the other, much better Chinese restaurant in BC is closed, so I decided to give them another try. BIG MISTAKE! Bottom line is: check your order before leaving this place!! The food is a solid 3 out of 10, the service is really really terrible, and the prices used to be pretty good but not so much now. I paid just a bit under $50.00 for 2 people, spent about an hour of my life running back and forth, never received about 12 dollars worth of the food i paid for, and got so agitated that I skipped dinner altogether. Dare I say I won't be giving them another shot...

I promised the young man who served me today I would leave a review once I got home because earlier after we had had our dinner at China a go go my phone had died and everything was so phenomenal from the service to scrumptious food I had to fulfill my promise and come back to leave a review for they more than deserve it and its important to me to let them know how everything was so good that it was a must that i came back and just let them know how good everything was and how me and my family will definitely be coming back again my kids destroyed their house fried rice and my kids are picky picky my wife and i both enjoyed the walnut shrimp "probably the best we have ever had" and the sweet and sour pork forget about it hands down authentic at its finest this place will absolutely satisfy if your looking for a reasonable priced meal to feed the family it's quick delicious and reasonable priced from my family to yours...

I highly recommend this china a go go they will not be disappointing I have dined in there, I have had their take out and have had them deliver to my house and I have been satisfied each time with all 3! I couldn’t tell you which was better because all three were just as good as the other but what’s impressive the most to me is that the quality of their food was the same all three ways their take out and delivery was just as delicious as it was while dining in they are consistent and that to me is what makes a good restaurant good you can usually tell when a restaurant is good by their consistency and they have always been consistent I HIGHLY RECOMMEND CHINA A GO GO by delivery take out or dine in you will not be disappointed or let down in either of the 3 they had all satisfied me so I’d have to say they are actually my favorite restaurant in BOULDER...
