McDonald's — Restaurant in Boulder

I hate leaving negative reviews. Too much complaining in this world. HOWEVER… Josephina (manager?) is a mean worker. I’ve always ignored her nasty attitude, but today she accused me of stealing a soda in front of other customers. A couple weeks ago, she kept saying the app wasn’t paying for the soda and I scanned it again. Nothing, then I used my card knowing full well the app was fine. You guessed it. I was charged 3 TIMES for the $1 soda.

Ok. Fine. It’s only $2 extra. Fast forward to today, SAME THING!!! I wasn’t having it this time. She gave me my cup then said it didn’t go through. I told her I’m sure it did. We went back and forth for a few minutes in front of others and I told her about the last time she charged me 3 times and she didn’t care, she only wanted to be paid now. She said “Fine, free soda” and that’s when I told her not to accuse me of stealing a $1 soda. I asked for the manager to ask for my $2 refund from the previous overcharge (I was pulling up my bank account) and she ignored me.

As I was grabbing a straw she pulled the receipt and said “see now it worked”…. 😑 after accusing me of stealing and overcharging me and a constant nasty attitude, no apology and not even a look of remorse. Just a “move along” face.

A customer who witnessed it met me outside and unloaded about her to me and said she wished corporate knew about her.

Look, I don’t want anyone to lose their job. We all need to put beans on the table. Just be nicer to people. If you think everyone around you is a mean grinch, YOU’RE probably the mean grinch!

I bought a $1 Ginormous Coke at the drive through this morning (my friend's dog kept me awake all night, okay? I needed the caffeine & sugar. Don't judge me!) and I only drank a few pulls because, well...

My regular Coca Cola tasted like lemon.

Now, since McDonald's doesn't sell that atrocious lemon Coke, I'm sort of mystified as to why my Coke had an afterburn flavor of lemon. It tasted like fake lemon. It just tasted...off.

I stopped drinking further because if they do not offer lemon Coke, THEN WHAT THE HELL WAS MAKING MY COKE TASTE LIKE LEMON?? Lemon scented cleaner used to clean ice maker - would that taste like lemon? Did they add lemonade to it for some reason - if so, why did it taste like Lemon Pledge smells?

I called later and reported the issue, but the dude just said he'd "check into it." My gut is churning like I drank battery acid and I'm actually hoping it is psycho symptomatic.

This is a strange location that is difficult to get into, but the next available McD's is up in the 29th Street mall area, much further from work. I tend to avoid this one anyway, now I...

If I could give 0 stars I would. everywhere online it states that mcdonald’s are open for breakfast of fridays until 11:30: I ordered my breakfast at 9:45 and got to the store at 10. I was then left waiting for over 30 mins and given just a bag of pancake syrup. After I was fed up waiting for my 5 food items, I asked another women where my order was. She then told me that it was after breakfast and the only thing that went through on my order was the syrup. I don’t understand how I could order a meal at 9:45 and proceed to wait for over 30 minutes and for it to not have gone through. When i confronted them about the timing and my order they simply said they can’t do anything and I can order lunch if I want, at 10:30. I did not even get a refund for what i had to pay for which was pancake syrup that I did not even take with me. I’m so furious with the way this staff handled this situation and I will not be going...
