I don't usually write negative reviews but for this, I will.
This place took a turn for the worse. First they make you check yourself out with the new kiosks which is cool if you only have a handful of things with barcodes on them but how many people know the code for each random bit in the store. Barely a real regular cashier does and you know make your customers work for you? Not really a fan. Then if you need help, you get ignored for 5 minutes as the two people who are watching the lines pay attention more to each other as you struggle to get their attention waving your hands while your register asks for an employee override.
Then I give them a second chance and I try to do an order with customer service for a returned item not in stock. Simple enough? Wrong. I order it and they say they don't know when it'll get there and will call me when it does (note: I saw other locations nearby that had it in stock so I figured it wouldn't be too long). So I wait a week. Nothing. Give them a call. Placed on hold for 30 minutes! Finally get someone and get placed on hold again after explaining my story. Waited another 10 minutes and just they just hung up. Called again and asked to speak with the manager who was finally able to "help" me with the same I don't know when it'll get here. This is not rocket science. A quick search on their own website showed other locations had it still in stock and available for pick up. I had to suggest my own solution to this process but of course, they couldn't just transfer my order or give the other location a heads up and I'd have to convince the other store to honor the sale price and at this point I was fed up and just wanted a refund because they took my money for the order for which they could not deliver on.
I must say, I am disappointed with the treatment I have received here. I had frequented this place many times with my late father who helped me rebuild my home and had many memories walking around here with him dreaming of the next renovation project. Sadly, we all...

Waste of Money and Time .. wasted $500 plus amount in this store purchase.
I was looking for Good window screen option and Home Depot price looks competitive but buying from Home Depot is Big Mistake!!!
Home Depot team ask me to bring old window screen for measurements mentions that’s perfect way to do it so everything is perfect . I took all old screen at store of Bound Brook . home Depot expert ( so called which I don’t this after this experience) measure the dimensions and he only places order in store. I got 10 of them picked up . Firstly No one called me for pick up which I need to follow up and it’s was seating in store for almost 10 Days. Now when I installed those in my windows..Only one screen out of 10 fit no gaps . All other 9 has huge gaps and it was falling out of windows when I tried to installed . It’s almost half of penny gaps.. I called store and explain situation.. I feel he was just finding excuses for not to talk or entertain complaint then he mentioned he will talk to manager and share me pictures.. after 30 mins he called and told as it’s old purchase ( 2 months ) he can’t do anything and that’s manager told him … He was not owning the mistake done by Home Depot expert about wrong measurements… and even didn’t bother about my complaint.. Not even inquire why Home Depot representative did wrong measurements.. and he just left me with my issue or complaint and I need to take that $500 plus cost on my and through all nets ..Will not buy even small screw from this store and Home Depot at all.. Read moreGas stove delivered 7/26, was supposed to be installed when it was delivered and it wasn't. Fridge arrived with some sort of spray insulation foam stuck to various interior surfaces, but I guess I deserve that for being poor and only spending $700 on a fridge. Next time it'll be $4,000 and foam-free. Probably can just be scraped off I guess. Dishwasher is still in its box but I think I know how to open it--got a dull knife laying around here somewhere. They won't install the stove until the 8th of August (2 weeks later) and won't refund the installation charge. Still better than Lowe's snapping my drainpipe during a dishwasher install and flooding the cabinets. It's as if the two take turns hiring each others' idiot employees. I can't even begin to fathom the level of stupidity required to say "we can't refund the install fee because it was delivered on time". Pretty sure the installation is late if it's not done the day of delivery, and I'm mildly confident it's late if it's 2 weeks later. It's like a plumber saying: "no, I won't refund you because even though I forgot to reconnect the sewage line to your toilet, it isn't clogged anymore and flushed fine regardless of where it drained to". Lowe's: "should have bought from us; just because we messed up a dishwasher doesn't mean we'll mess up the gas stove--what could possibly go wrong?"
