Today Sep 1st we went to the target optical store at Bridgewater, NJ around 7 PM and want to share my experience with you.
The employee over there (Name : Brent) was taking care of a customer lady. Meanwhile we were looking at frames and chosen one and waiting for our turn. Our turn came around 7:50 PM and we sat in front of the employee 'Brent'. He asked what insurance I have and I said Aetna Preferred and I told my information should be in the system already as I am an existing customer. Next he asked me "Am I going to definitely order tonight". Then I said what do you mean. He again asked me the same and said the store will close in 5 minutes. He didn't even check my insurance and didn't look at the frame and discussed any options with me. I straight away told him that he is not supposed to ask me that question first and instead could have told me while I was waiting for 50 min to finish the customer lady that he is taking care of. He really took care of the previous customer lady very well for more than 50 min showing different options and frames to choose. I am really dissatisfied with this service and walked away from the optical store. Hope the will be discussed with the employee and make sure this doesn't repeat to other customers. This should have recorded in the optical store camera as well if it was working.
And when I asked the target store manager, he told that target doesn't really own the optical store and its owned by other third party retailer. I am really...

I had the pleasure of talking to Brian (Bryan?) who is relatively new to the team. He was polite, kind, and extremely helpful during my process of ordering contacts. But it doesnāt end with the recent addition to an already strong team. Iāve had the most pleasant and best eye doctor visits with the rest of the staff at the store , especially Robert and Rosa. Iāve had the pleasure of getting to know these two over the course of 5+ years and each time I see them they make my day brighter and clearer (see what I did there?). Beyond the amazing staff there, Dr. Samuel is in a league of his own with supreme customer care and delivering top-notch Optical support. Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad an appointment scheduled for 4/25. Have confirmation email. Got a call to confirm my appointment on 4/24 @ 10:30AM (went to voicemail as I was at work). I called back same day at 3:30PM when I had time, for the same person who left me the voicemail to tell me I donāt have an appointment with them tomorrow. I asked multiple times to try checking with my dob and this was ignored. I kept being told over and over again that I donāt have an appointment. I wasnāt even offered to make a new appointment. I went back onto my confirmation email to double check if I had made a mistake, but everything was correct. I went ahead and clicked the ārescheduleā button and it stated my appointment has been canceled. I guess if you donāt confirm within a few hours of them calling they will cancel your appointment on their own.
I canāt speak regarding the doctor as I of course did not get an appointment to see him, Iām sure heās great as per his reviews.. Just wish the problem...
