Hartland Cafe — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Went here because 5th Street had a wait. They had a buffet, eggs, bacon & sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy. It wasn't bad. It was late in the morning and I'm guessing the buffet would have been better earlier in the day. We were the only ones there so the waitress just had to sit and look at us to anticipate our needs. The cook did make a few fresh waffles and apparently he would make up a fresh omelette also. I thought it a bit expensive at $15.99 for what was on the buffet but the was edible and my better half didn't want to wait at 5th Street which is where we usually eat. Just have to remember not to wait until church lets out to go there on Sunday. I guess what I'm saying is there must be a reason this place was empty while the other place had a wait.
