Hilligan's Sports Bar — Restaurant in Bowling Green

As a WKU student, I used to go to Hilligan’s regularly…but not anymore! The place has gone WAY downhill in the last month or so. My favorite people are now gone, the new people are rude as hell, especially the new general manager, and their social media is crap…blurry pictures, the same Google memes that are posted over and over and over, poor grammar and misspellings, and posts that, I guess, they think are supposed to appeal to college-aged people but come across as rude and condescending…like ‘Trailer Park Tuesday’ (making it seem like we’re all trailer trash) and the gift card giveaway where they pretty much said all the girls look like crap and need a makeover. She also gets on social media and is NOT professional AT ALL! Then when I was there last weekend, I saw the general manager go out and start yelling at a group of people who were getting out of their car to come in, telling them that they couldn’t park there or she was going to have them towed. I know for a fact that 2 of them used to work there, so why couldn’t they park there and come in? Plus, the general manager has hair down to her butt and NEVER wears it up or puts on a hairnet. I don’t want her nasty hair in my food…so I won’t be back and I’ll tell all my friends to stay away from this place and the underage kids they now let in! We’ll go to TOPPER SOCIAL from now on…at least they know how to treat...

I came here with a friend for the first time in a while and unfortunately my experience was not what I was expecting. It was considerably worse than the first time I came here, when I actually had a really nice time. The food was decent, so I’ll give them that, but the overall vibe and atmosphere was just really off. It’s like you can tell the employees don’t like working there, I don’t know if it’s a personal motivation thing or if they don’t like working for their manager, I don’t know for sure if they hired someone new but the place just doesn’t run as smoothly as it did before. There was a heavily tattooed woman with glasses who I hadn’t ever seen prior and when I went to inquire she was very inconsiderate and kinda just pushed me off. Not great customer service skills. The place was also messier which at the end of the day it’s a sports bar it’s not THAT big of a deal but it was something to note. waited on a waitress for like 15 minutes to come get our orders. nobody came! had to go to the bar ( noone at the registrar) to order and even there i had to wait like 10 minutes ( even after calling the waitress couple of times). not to mention the food took forever to arrive. nobody even came to check on us or bring the bill. had to go to the cashier ! didn't find anyone! had to go to bar and pay there! while waiting outside for few minutes and talking to friends , this waitress comes running and saying you have not paid the bill! and i had to argue nicely that i have, she had to go check again! where was she the whole time! makes me feel like all all that matters is my cash! or maybe just because i am an international student i dont deserve to be treated like other costumers! i really dont know! but for two years i have been coming there and i dont deserve to be treated like...
