Jet's Pizza — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Sanitation issues! I arrived early for my order. I decided to park in front of the glass window and wait in my car. Two young workers were busy making pizzas. I watched a few minutes and noticed they weren’t wearing food prep gloves. Watched a little longer while one finished and grabbed a garbage can. He pushed it to his coworker. Both handled the trash can. Shortly after, one of them picked up the mop to clean a mess. Both resumed making pizzas. No hand washing. I went in and asked for a refund and told the manager what I seen. Never got an apology. He argued about it still being food safe because they heat the food up to 450. Got angry looks. It’s hard for me to believe Wood County allows food handling under those circumstances. Absolutely disgusting....

Pizza is fine, they have several different crusts; deepdish, hand tossed, crispy thin, NYC style (noncrispy thin). Their sandwiches are basically a deep dish crust used for bread and are pretty good. They have stuffed regular dough pocket type sandwiches too. Website is fine for ordering, always gives a delivery time that they will beat easily (intentionally?). Pretty generous with toppings on all items. Major drawback is a $3 delivery fee, prices are standard for a pizza joint otherwise. I order about once a week trying out as many items as possible. Nothing has been mind blowing great, but also it has never been bad. Basically a standard "delivers what it promises" pizza place. Picture is a cross section of a hsm and cheese...

Love jets but I ordered a pizza tonight from their website assuming it was a normal order. Apparently they can just have door dashers deliver your food without you being aware of this. I wasn't happy when I got a text saying doordash is on its way. My gut instinct was correct, the doordasher stole the food and said it was delivered. BUT jets made it right and delivered my order again and threw some extra food in so for that I'm thankful. They fixed the issue and the food is great. Thank you to that manager that took the blame and made it right even tho it wasn't...
