I’ve been a loyal customer to the BG Pisanello’s since I was a kid. I started ordering my own pizzas when I moved to town at 17, and 11 years later I have had little issues with their pizza from day 1.
Lately it seems like I’ve been having issue after issue though. The last 2 times I ordered a pizza it came with pepperoni instead of pineapple. I assume the codes on their order slips are very close to one another. No big deal tbh, I’m a vegetarian but my bf eats meat so he can enjoy it. I called the manager and first time there were no issues. New pizza dropped off (no contact delivery). Second time (probably a few weeks later than the first time iirc) this same exact issue happened, the new delivery guy shows up and insists on taking the old pizza back despite there being a global pandemic and having requested a no contact delivery, and the girl on the phone saying we were to keep the wrong pizza. It was off putting and worrisome especially since I had to try to lock up my barking dog since I wasn’t expecting a knock on the door and to have to communicate with someone when I requested no contact for a reason.
All in all, I think some training of new employees is in order. And if you mess up an order you probably shouldn’t ask for the old order back as it’s a health issue (especially during a pandemic). I personally am hesitant to order again despite being a loyal customer of many many years. I think a free dessert or pizza might help change my mind and this review...
Read moreStopped in during the black swamp arts festival today (9/8) for lunch with my sister and daughter. Worried it would be busy around 1pm we were met with a seat yourself sign right inside the door with several open seats surprisingly. (At least 3 2-tops and a few 4-tops) to choose from. We sat down looked over the menus and discussed what we would like to eat, going back and forth on a few items. Noone stopped to greet us. Continued looking over the menu changing our minds a few times, sent a few texts to my husband. Still, no one has stopped to greet us. Saw a few people at the register and wondered if that was where we maybe went to order but over hear a waitress tell a table that had just sat that she would be right with them. Told my sister we would wait 2 more minutes (it had already been 8) and watched said waitress walk upto the just seated table and take their drink order. Now I understand that it is the arts festival and maybe the 13ish tables they had seated were a bit over whelming for them...but being a past waitress myself I normally have sympathy. But I also know to at least acknowledge the situation with your tables and not walk past multiple times. We went to Beckett's and had great service. Will...
Read moreI'm not sure why you call yourself Eatstreet. It was your employee that delivered the foods that we ordered an hour late and as cold as food could be. But I now understand the $10.00 service fee when the delivery was free? When I called after the order was very late arriving, I was told that the order just left. That was an hour after the order was supposed to be delivered. Needless to say, the order did not show up for another 30 minutes when we only live 10 minutes away. I was told that it was due to the number of orders that were received because it was the day after Christmas. I can understand the busy nature of that. I'm sure that happens every year. What I can't understand is how you're not prepared for that day after Christmas and the deceptive nature of when my order would be delivered. When I called to ask about the lateness of the order, I indicated it would be the last time I order from your establishment and was told "Okay,...
