Subway — Restaurant in Bowling Green

Did you know that if you have a food allergy you are not suppose to eat at Subway? Well go to the Subway on Main Street in Bowling Green Ohio in the Big Lots shopping area, Scott (rude employee) will tell you all about it. Please read on.

I was treated extremely rood in front of customers and I will not return to this restaurant again. There was a nice employee helping me with my order. When we go, we usually order multiple sandwich/subs. Normally I do not have to worry about food allergies, but this time I purchased the new turkey bacon guacamole. My son is allergic to avocados. I thought I was paying attention to the sandwiches better than I was, but I missed seeing him put the quac on the wrap. Which is not a big deal except that he used the same gloves to make my sons sandwich as well. Not the employees fault by any means. So when we realized it, the employee was very nice, washed his hands, put on new gloves, and made my son a new sandwich. While he was doing this, the other employee, Scott, informed my in front of the customers that if you have a food allergy of any sort, DO NOT EAT HERE. His reasoning was that all their foods touch each other. Which they do not, they are in containers separated. The gloves was what the problem was not the food. It was my fault not the employee helping me. I still paid for all the sandwiches, but it was my error. But I can guarantee that we will never eat at subway again...

Went here about a week ago because the Rapid Pizza was closed ( completely gutted from the looks of it). Wasn't expecting much from the typical Subway. There were new menu items I wasn't familiar with so I went with one of my originals, chicken teriyaki on a flatbread loaded with veggies. Still tastes as good as usual. The prices havent changed much after the last few years, still reasonable compared to other places. My nephew got a 6" pizza sub. Got only fountain water to cut back on price of drinks. Altogether it was about $12. The background music was a typical pop music but not too loud that you couldn't talk. I was surprised to only see like 3 tables there and a lot of empty space. I'm guessing not many people...

We placed an online order for a lunchmeat combo, we asked for and paid for extra meat, there was not extra meat and it was all bologna, there was short brown hair in the mayo. We also ordered a rotisserie chicken salad, which was fine, we asked for the dressing on the side for the salad, the salad was covered in dressing. And they included a side of Italian dressing but the dressing that we ordered was the sweet onion. The employees ignored us when we came in the store to pick up the order until we moved over and stood in front of the register and they finally acknowledged us. Very disappointing and the hair grossed us out. This is our second similar experience with this...
