This was my first visit to this local Boynton Beach Blvd Fresh Seafood Market and I was happily surprised by the quality of the fresh seafood filets including one of my favorite's -Fresh Chilean Sea Bass. I was impressed with the Tuna, Swordfish, Trout, Lobster and even took home fresh-made Mahi-Mahi Fish Dip for $5.99 with some specialty crackers for another $2.99.The ambiance is plain, not fancy, but the the service was efficient and attentive and friendly. I absolutely loved my fish dip and crackers and expect to return soon for my Sea Bass next then some Salmon. Capt. Frank's will be the place I go for my fresh Seafood so I'm glad I stopped in and asked Liz a lot of questions.

I came here 2 weekend ago for Mother’s Day and this place defines a seafood market hidden gem. I love how kept up and the variety of food items they had from the fridge, freezers, and fresh seafood on display. We ordered live blue crabs and soft shell crabs and they were perfect. They were nice and juicy and of course live and fresh. They had deserts available in their fridge, raviolis with different stuffing, wagyu beef, and even fresh vegetables. I’m glad I found this market.

I’m only down here a couple times a year, but when I am I make sure to make a trip here. The seafood is top notch, the place is impeccably clean, and if you get there early there’s some great steaks in the coolers too. I’ve been coming down to this area my whole life and this is my favorite spot for fresh seafood. I’ve told everyone in the area that I know about it, and I won’t go anywhere else. The photo I added is after we cooked everything up. Delicious!!!!

We have been here twice over the past year and had great experiences. The people there are passionate about their product, friendly and knowledgeable (even on the phone, I called ahead of time for details). They had a nice selection and the shop was clean. My mother went in for me during this virus (I'm far along pregnant and keeping my distance) and she waited outside until she was comfortable with the amount of people inside since it's a small area (wearing a mask just incase). When I got home and opened everything I was happy with how fresh and nicely fileted the fish was (they even removed the bloodline for us when she asked). The shrimp from Cape Canaveral was also fresh and had NO slimy feel or smell like some frozen store bought does. The only negatives I have are that you need to come early to get certain things ie. There was only one peice of seabass left, but it was later in the day and some of the pricing can be steep depending on the item otherwise everything seemed...

What a bummer! I have shopped at this fish market for years. I bought mahi yesterday, the filet was loaded with bones. The flesh of the fish was quite soft and a bit gray in appearance as well. Opted for a frozen pizza dinner instead and brought the fish back to captain franks in the morning to exchange or refund. They would not take the fish back, exchange it or issue a refund. The man behind the counter said, “there’s nothing wrong with this fish. We even left the bones in for you.” I left the fish there and left Captain Franks for the last time. There are other fish markets in the sea… when did honoring your products become a thing of the past? I drove straight to captain clays in Delray, purchased mahi again, instead of “leaving the bones in for me”, they removed the skin and bloodline. The flesh is firm, and has no odor. Bye...

I'm going to give this establishment of five even though I didn't get to taste some of the delicious looking fish and here is the reason why. I did not encounter a fishy smell like you so often find where they're selling fish which means, I was taught, it is fresh. The fish that they have for sale looked healthy. I found the employees to be very friendly. The Establishment is very tiny not what I expected. There are many interesting accouterments for sale also. So why didn't I buy any fish because I certainly wanted to? It was just out of my price range. It might have something to do with the proximity to the Palm Beaches. I do want to issue one caution and that is parking do not and I repeat do not go there when school is either entering or the cars are exiting because they will not let you out of a parking...
