We visited this location on a Friday night. They have an outside bar serving a large outside patio seating area with a DJ playing, but we decided to dine indoors. The outside area was jammed pack, but surprisingly, the inside was not busy at all. Our party of five practically had the whole room to ourselves.
It took almost ten minutes after seated to be greeted by our waitress. She was however very friendly and upbeat, but perhaps was overwhelmed by her many other customers seating outside.
Appetizers took almost twenty minutes to our table. We had the Calamari, which was rather small portioned and mostly were "pop corn" chunks rather than the usual rings you would get from other restaurant. Wings were good, we ordered plain with sauces on the side.
2 of us ordered the Mac-daddy burgers. One really liked it, but one thought it was just ok. The coconut shrimps were great tasting, fish tacos were really good.
One thing needs mentioning: there were water droplets from the ceiling coming from what looks to be AC air ducts. It literally dropped onto one of us. We also noticed even worse droplets coming down from two other spots of the ceiling above two other tables, all from the air ducts above. They should have this checked.
Our waitress did her best to serve us, however we did had to wait for sometime for our food and drinks refills.
Perhaps we would've got a better service had we chose to dine outside. Overall it was just an ok experience...
Read moreVery disappointed. I called before arrival to make sure there was no cross contamination between the veggie burger and regular burger meat, and the fries with other fried meats. I was assured by Rachel (manager) on the phone that both the veggie burger and fries were completely separate and there was no cross contamination. But when we arrived (I always ask the server again to be completely sure there is no cross contamination- or I won’t eat it) we were told that the burger was cooked on the same grill as the meat. The server then asked the cook if the fries were fried with anything else meat wise and we ourselves heard the cook state “not seafood”- meaning yes to chicken. The server even came back and asked us “meat as in not even chicken right?” So there is 100% cross contamination of meat on the veggie burger and the fries. Rachel (manager) thought “scraping the flattop with the same grill scraper”- while leaving all of the grease from the actual hamburger meat- was “not” cross contamination. Then lied once more to our faces about the fries (since we heard the cook ourselves say “not seafood” - he would 100% know which fryer he fries what food in. If they have these options on their menu, they should definitely take into consideration cross contamination, and especially not lie about it. So we took our drinks to go and left to go find another restaurant that could actually accommodate for vegetarians/vegans- without cross...
Read moreWent for dinner around 6-7, on a Monday, super slow inside just a game of poker going on as like 2 other tables. They had a server with blue hair taking care of them and boy do I wish she took care of me too. We gave our server (who never mentioned her name) our drink order, she brought the drinks and we ordered food, and that was when our waitress stopped caring lol. 15 minutes later she drops our food off, both me and my girlfriend need more drinks. Our waitress ran circles around us avoiding eye contact or asking how are food tasted, if we wanted refills. So we both ate our food with no drinks, I ran out of bleu cheese before I was halfway done with my wings (a cardinal sin), and when we’re almost done I see I manager looking guy and his cook walk out from the back. Our obviously empty drinks were sitting on the end of the table just begging some waitstaff to fill it up, and when the manager started walking our way I got a sense of relief. Syke !! He went to the the table next to me who apparently were regulars and ignored us like our server. Food was good, service was terrible. Moral of the...
